This is a list of skills and what to do at each skill level to advance to 100.0

Alchemy:
00 - 30: Train at NPC Alchemist.
30 - 45: Agility Potion.
45 - 55: Total Refreshment Potion.
55 - 65: Greater Agility Potion.
65 - 75: Greater Strength Potion.
75 - 85: Greater Heal Potion.
85 - 98: Greater Cure Potion.
98 - 100: Deadly Poison Potion.

Blacksmithy:
00 - 30: Buy from an NPC Blacksmith
30 - 45: ringmail gloves/sleeves
45 - 55: broadswords/longswords/kryss'/axes
55 - 65: short spears
65 - 94: long spears
94 - 100: platemail gorgets
100 - 120: platemail pieces (You'll need powerscrolls to exceed 100.0)


Bowcraft/Fletching:
00 - 28.9: Buy it from an NPC Fletcher
29.0 - 59.9: Bows
60.0 - 94.9: Crossbows
95.0 - 100.0: Heavy Crossbows

Carpentry:
00 - 30: Buy it from an NPC Carpenter.
30 - 49: Build Medium Crates.
50 - 52: Build Large Crates.
53 - 74: Build Wooden Shields.
75 - 79: Build Quarter Staffs.
78.9 - 100: Build Gnarled Staffs or Shepherd's Crooks

Cartography:
00 - 30: Buy from an NPC Mapmaker.
30 - 50: Local Maps.
50 - 65: City Maps.
65 - 99.5: World Maps.
99.5 - 100: Level 4 and 5 Treasure Maps

Cooking:
00 - 30: Buy it from an NPC Cook.
30 - 100: Barbecued items are recommended. These can be made be made out of a single piece of meat each, so you can collect more while you're gathering Leather or out Fishing.
Note: You can make Tribal Paint at 80.0 with a 100% chance.

Inscription:
00 - 30: Buy from a NPC Mage or Scribe.
30 - 55: Make 4th circle scrolls.
55 - 65: Make 5th circle scrolls.
65 - 85: Make 6th circle scrolls.
85 - 94: Make 7th circle scrolls.
94 - 100: Make 8th circle scrolls.

Poisoning:
00 - 30: Lesser poison
30.1 - 68: Regular Poison
68.1 - 96.9: Greater poison
97.0 - 100.0: Deadly poison

Tailoring:
00 - 29.0: Buy it from an NPC Tailor
29.0 - 41.4: Short Pants
41.4 - 54: Cloaks
54 - 74.6: Robes
74.6 - 99.5: Oil Cloths (This part is very slow at times)
99.6 - 120: Studded Leather Legging or Tunics(You'll need alot of leather./ to exceed 100.0 you'll need to use powerscrolls.)

Tinkering:
00 - 30: Train at NPC Tinker
30 - 45: Scissors (2 Ingots each)
45 - 60: Smith's Hammers (1 Ingot each)
60 - 92.5: Lockpicks (1 Ingot each)
92.5 - 95: Candelabras (4 Ingots each)
95 - 100: Scales and Spyglasses (4 Ingots each)

ok so, tryed this guid with the chests from 95... used 23K ingots to GM. just now trying with the gorgets to GM but have been told from a vary good sorce that it wont use that many.

char was at 150 skill points when starded black smithy.

5th skill smithy, using the most ingot effective way, took me liek 28k ingots

I think in the level 45-60 is better use Hammers(1 Ingot each) i think so..but I can wrong :S

Okay this guide sucks. Only follow it if you want to use the most EXPENSIVE way possible.

actually, the bulk of it is fairly good. soem of the skills i've never done, but out of all of them i have done, they are very good (except the smithy one)

Just GM'd Smithy on a new alt, from 50, using the Short Spear/Plate Gorget method, which took 10731 ingots. This is my new record

Just a little FYI, some might find this useful. Also maybe correct your Poisoning section? This is more efficient. Sorry if some people dont rly understand what im trying to point out, I know the way I organised this is kinda difficult and probably easier for the person who wrote it to understand. But anyways heres poisoning in a nutshell.



poisoning from 50 (50-67.3 normal - 68-99.2 greater - 99.2-100 deadly)

regs used: only 2-300
Kegs used (normal): 1
total price from 50 to 67.3: roughly $1.5k

67.3 - 99.2 Greater Poison

[Notes: (about 450 shade per keg or $1.575k per) :
(67.3 through 76.6 = 1keg : 76.6 through 83.1 = 1 keg :
83.1 through 89.1 = 1keg : 89.1 through 95.1 = 1 keg :
95.1 through 99.2 = 1keg)
regs used from 50 to 99.2: 2.55k shade*
Kegs used (greater): 5
total price from 50 to 99.2: $9.375k

99.2 - 100.0 Deadly Poison

[Notes: (about 3.5k shade per keg? {could be a little off} or $12.250k per keg)

regs used from 50 to 100.0: roughly 3.2k shade
Kegs used (deadly): only about 10 or so potions from a keg I have filled
total price from 50 to 100.0: estimated 11.0k


post notes: total cost is considering shade costs 3.5per since some places sold for 4 and some sold for 3, i just split the difference
this doesnt factor in Gcure pots youll use (about 20 or so)
or any other factors such as pks etc.
also this was done as a first skill on a fresh toon.

Just finishing up my smith, at 99.1 right now.

about 12k ingots doing short spears until 94.8 and gorgets after.

show real is the only one you should work with

the reg skill is liek the common knowledge thing. im sure you know a little bit about camping irl without making 2000 fires. and im sure you can sorta use a sword without actually taking fencing lessons etc etc

At 655 skill... and going from 100 to 115 blacksmith. It took around 50k ingots.

Sorry but this guide is inaccurate/inefficient.

For smithing, make short spears until about 93-95. They are 6 ingots each and smelt down to 3 ingots.

After that make plate gorgets until GM. They are 10 ingots each and smelt down to 5 ingots each.

I've used 5k ingots to get from 82 to 96 skill in the last hour and a half. It will probably take me another 2-5k ingots to GM
