You can use it to pass system messages to Razor macros.

give me an example of what kind of macro you'd have to put in your own sys message to initiate an action?

I was curious as well, haven't heard of [echo before. This thread came up with a search - answered a couple of my questions.

yes i read that before i posted.. but it didnt exactly answer my question...

i mean.. for most actions you have a system message.. so why manually put one in?

i just dont see the logical purpose of it yet...

I messed around with the razor system message deal in the past to see if it was possible that people were using a macro to throw pots at me. I couldn't throw pots to save my life at the time, and thought people were cheating. I learned that it was possible to use a razor macro to throw pots, but Im not gonna help anyone set that bullshit up.

I have used the sys message deal in a couple skill training macros in the past, but there was generally another way of going about doing what I was trying to do.

ive used systems messages in alot of my macros.
