Make a character on an alt account rent a vendor from the house you plan to run vendors from. Then in the rental menu at top it shows cost per 1 day and at bottom it shows contract time remaining. If set to a 1 week contract on auto renew the timer will say 6 days 23 hours. Use that timer to judge when your 1 day timer will be close to expiring so you can remove items and pay no fee.

That's what I wasn't sure of. Is it 24 hours since you put up the vendor, or is it every real world day at a set time for everyone. I guess it makes more sense for it to be every 24 hours since it was put up, but I would still like some confirmation from GM's, or at least the corresponding code that saves the time it is put up and charges every 24 hours after that time.

If you watch the first 24 hours roll by when it reaches 5 days 23 hours you will see the cost per day was taken out. So the contract time will be nearly 100% accurate.

Are we going to get faction equippables and consumables?

Eventually, yes! These are part of ML and are scheduled to be added in the future. It remains to be seen whether we will tweak the items and/or system, as obtaining silver is significantly easier here with everyone having 4 accounts and being allowed to multiclient. Players have suggested making them equippable only in Felucca, for example, which is something we could consider. We are definitely not planning on adding these artifacts and making them trivial to obtain, causing the original artifacts to become worthless.




Can we get a more specific timeline for implementation of faction arties?

Maybe a year? Maybe a couple months? Or we just don't know yet it could be up to 20 years and still vary even at that...?
 
Can you elaborate a bit more how detect hidden is working ?

Quoting UO Guide " The passive Detect Hidden range against a character using Stealth is a 4 tile radius; stealthers are advised to stay at least 4 tiles away from others. As of Publish 80 passive detection of (floor) traps will only occur if a player has at least 75 detecting hidden skill. "

Lets say a character has 100 Detect Hidden. Does this mean that as long it is 4 tiles away from a stealther ( someone actively using stealth ) he will be revealed ?

there isn't a difference here. That was a change during stygian abyss to promote the usefulness of minor slayers. Because with imbuing, there would have been little reason to go after minor slayers if there was no difference.
