[Macro] Snooping Stealing Lockpicking

Hello fellows!

Here I tell you how to macro snooping from 0 to GM and stealing from 0 to GM. Lockpicking coming soon!

First of all: You can buy some skillpoints in snooping and stealing in Felucca Buccaneer's Den

Snooping
Go to Felucca Skara Brae and south to the city. On the way you should find some NPC who are searching for an escort. Accept the escort by saying I will take thee! or by single-clicken them and chosing Accept Escort. Now - if you are still outside the town - walk into the guarded zone. You should walk little deeper, so that murderers cannot kill you!
Open your fellow's paperdoll and then open Razor's macro menu. Click on New ... then on the Record button and now doubleclick your fellow's backpack and stop recording.

Now you should have only one item in your macro list. Select the loop checkbox and Play the macro. After some minutes you should be a grandmaster.

Stealing
This is a little more complicated. But only a little. Stealing is easy to macro too, but it takes much much longer to gain in.

Go and buy yourself a pack llama in the Luna stables north of the Luna moongate. Then go to the Luna mage shop, wich is upstairs and right to the left, and buy 20 empty bottles. Now gate to Umbra or somewhere else in Malas, Tokuno or Trammel because macroing is forbidden in Luna! Consider that you can only steal from your pack llama in Felucca unless you are in a guild. Tell your pack llama to guard you by saying all guard and empty the pack llama's backpack!

Now download the attached macro Stealing.macro and put it into your Razor\Macros folder. Maybe you have to restart Razor.

Now open up the Stealing macro, right-click on Absolute Target and chose Re-Target. Now target your pack llama.
Then right-click and Edit ... the if-conditional. The number has to be your current weight+11 (1 bottle = 1 stone). Right-click it again and select Begin Recording Here. Now drag the 20 empty bottles from your character's backpack directly on the llama (not in it's backpack)!
Stop recording and right-click on the line under the if-conditional (Lift 20...) and Convert to Lift by Type.

Now you should have eight items in your macro list.
UseSkill Stealing
Wait for Target
Absolute Target
If ( Weight >= xxx )
Lift empty bottle%s% (0F0E) - 20
Drop to 0x...
End If
Pause 10.00sec

Select the loop checkbox and Play the macro. Gaining takes very long, so do not be surprised.

Well thanx for the effort, but somtimes it works and sometimes it tells me " you can´t steal that"... wich is quite annoying, do you know of anyway to avoid that msg?

at 50 stealing i never miss stealing the bottle and i dont get any skills this wont work...

instead of empty bottles put :


50-70: Closed Helms
70-90: Crossbows
90-100: Hammer Picks
100-120: Dye Tubs

i gmd it this way in 6 hours...
if u use bottles youll be reaching 60 in 6 hours...

For record, stealing success rate is based on weight, and so are gains.

What your able to steal at what stealing lvl is also based on weight (the higher your skill the more weight in a stack you can grab, very good for stealing black pearl, ect ect)

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Finally get to post this response to lockpicking lol.

Ok first buy up to 30 or so if you can find an NPC.

Then go to Luna and go along the outer-most wall along the north side. Along the out side of the wall. The house you are looking for is about two to three houses from the northwest corner of the outer-most wall. The owner has a lockpicking setup for potential lockpickers. The house has four containers on the front porch. Just buy the four different keys from the vendor and put the keys on a key ring.(This helps for switching the macro)

Then setup a macro for the 30 tinker skill container(not to sure on the skill #'s) that looks like this.(For Razor)

double click key ring
wait for target -------- delet this
absolute target
double click lockpick
wait for target -------- delet this
absolute target
pause 10 seconds* ------------- insert this after the above
*maybe longer than 10 secs.

When you skill stops to gain/slow on the lowest container move to the next higher one out front. Retarget the absolute targets to the new container.

This will take you to 95 skill. After that I recomend use the faction trick by joining a faction and killing yourself with poison and resurecting and going back to the same house. In a faction you get a 33% skill loss when you kill your self(or other means but this is the easiest). Then you can gain the last five points with the temp. skill loss.


The alternative is to go to dungeons and pick level four spawning chests which you have to disarm or take the risk of dieing from the traps. Also takes very long time cause your skill level is so high and you gain faster when it is at a lower level. (i.e. you gain faster at mid 60's than at 95).

is it better to have lots of items or is it enough with just 1?

every 2nd run it gets stuck at lift 1 etc etc this is quite annoying as it wont auto reset for 5 mins any fix?

i just get legendary stealing,the way is,use razor steal last target,and put back the item into ur packhorse(set the wait time for skill).just run manually once,and just loop with razor.Preferably use the item list and not using items that sums up the stones(takes forever may get stuck).

lol took me 30 mins to find the house :p

its a big house, in the north-west corner, between both walls of luna, touching the inside wall. Its got several runebooks and dye tubs, along with 5 colored chests you train on. You get in by some teleporters :p

i hope this helps incase someone was lost like me.

Ok.. here is what I did for Stealing. Two guilded members.. I don't think it will work unless you're guilded or unless you are a members of the thieves guild.

Put 5000 gold on the Stealee and have scavanger set on to auto pick up gold. Snoop the backpack.

Heres the macro.

UseSkill Stealing
Pause .30 secs
Absolute target (target the gold in the "stealees" backpack)
Pause 10.00 secs
Lift gold coin (0EED) - 500
Pause .50secs
Drop to Ground (@ .... (drop the gold at the feet of the player you stole it from and he'll scavage it back into his backpack)

Since the skill is weight based.. every time he gains he picks up more gold, thus more gains.. more gold.. more gains.. etc.. to GM.

Is the house still up and if it is can somone make a discibe a easyer way getting to it been looking for hours and no luck. Look inside luna and outside of the NW corner. thx

One of the vendors that are on the East side of the house sells the keys.
