Any civilian regularly assisting Officer Pwent during his shifts will be fully deputized as a peace officer per P.C.A Act 92-0238*.
*In common law, posse comitatus (Latin, roughly translated as “to be able to be made into part of a retinue or force”) referred to the authority wielded by the sheriff to deputize any able-bodied male over the age of fifteen to assist him in keeping the peace or to pursue and arrest a felon.
