Player Ran Events
Demise staff is proud to announce that we are willing to assist players in advertising player ran events on the forums. But, as with any program, there must be rules.
If you are hosting a player ran event, please post it as you normally would in the General Discussion Forum. A Seer Team member will be able to move your thread from there to the Events forum. When moving the thread, a disclaimer will be added to the original message stating that this is a player ran event and the Demise Staff are not a part in the creation, hosting, or managing of the event. The title of the thread will also begin with the tag [PRE] indicating it is a player ran event.
Should the original poster come back and edit the event in any way negatively (ie beyond updating times or description) or removing the disclaimer, the following will occur:
1. The post will be removed,
2. The poster will be temporarily banned from the forums, and
3. No future events posted by that individual will be moved to the events forum.
This change is in a probationary period and the service can be stopped at any time.
The best way you can be sure we see your event is to post with ample time prior to the event. Do not expect your event to be moved if it is posted less than 1 day in advance.
