Regular Events

Regular events are now planned to take place twice a week, Monday and Saturday. These events will start with about a 15 or 20 minute meeting and organization period at the RP Community Building in the Grove of Love clearing located due North of the Brigands Camp off the Brit/Yew great road.

The start times of the general meeting phase are 9 pm on Mondays and Noon on Saturday (central time).

[Central time is currently CDT, -5 GMT]

[There are a variety of combat and adventure related activities planned for these events, so do not bring items that you can not afford to insure.]

[Most people will be in character but these regular events are open to anybody and the RP will be casual]

Players are starting to gather in about five minutes. It will take a little time after that to make it to the event site.

For the Regular Events meeting this Saturday, the plan is forming to put some blood on the fresh ground of the Fighting Pit in the RP community center.

Possible combat events,
"Nice Cloak", requires cloak
"Walk the Line"
"Jousting", requires a horse and lance
"Gladiatorial Games", requires Jhelom fighter hirelings

Participation in combat events requires joining one of the [DAA] ally guilds.

Scouts report, the pending return of General Antorvir Deep has spurred on the Drows plan to conquer Skara Brea. The battle for Skara Brea will begin Saturday 16th, 12:30 eastern time.

Two stages, Drow will first take control of the road and docs for passage into the city. Then they will secure the town by subduing the residence there.

Drow requested RoE:No use of named artifacts, GM weapons only, Runic Armors ok.

I wonder if anybody bothered to check with Drow to see if they are actually available today to Defend the moon gate region.

There are two attacks planned. Skara Brae gate region and Hells Horde prison tower.

What groups are planning to participate?

Attackers: Wolf Clan, SoF?, Yew?
Defenders: Hells Horde, Drow?, [YARG] Pirates?, [Evil] Mercenaries?

Skara gate will be:
one attack wave
no rez-fighting
no other restrictions
winner takes control of moon gate region

H|H Tower (West of Brigands camp) will be:
best 3 out of five attack waves
no self resurrection
show and stay with your body
accepting a rez from the enemy is a capture
accepting a rez from an ally is a recovery
no rez-fighting in the same attack wave
no other ROE restrictions
the objective is to force the release of H|H prisoners

The results from last week:

Drow laid low causing the battle for Skara gate to be delayed.

Scouts report that Skara Brae citizens are being treated well and paid handsomely by Drow Overlords. Silver Wolf as war leader has ordered Wolf Clan to stand down to wait and see what develops in Skara.

The assault on Hells Horde prison tower drew overwhelming response. Rather than comply with the opening demands Hells Horde fought out all three attack waves and were defeated. All prisoners have been released.

The regular Monday meeting saw the suspension of hostilities for a community Dragon Hunt.

This Saturday (08/08/09) at Noon central time gates will be opening in New Haven, Luna Bank and West Brit Bank to the Grove of Love for RP Community open recruiting day.

Guild leaders from, Pirates, Yew, Knights of Terror, Hells Horde, Drow, Seekers of Fortune, Wolf Clan to name a few will be there meet and talk to players interested in RP.

In addition to RP guild information and recruiting there will be Gladiatorial Exhibition of various types in the Fight Pit.
