Thank you. Can you tell me how can I play listening to this songs?? When i open the file there are just the songs files and a .txt file that says config. Nothing else.

Just drop the files into the UO Music\Digital folder (overwriting what's there)

I got bored, so here's some(yet again) re-recorded versions of UO songs for use with the current (KR+) clients

Just drop them into your UO\Music\Digital folder. (Rename the existing files first to <whatever>.mp3.bak just in case )

Ok, on this one I am TOTALLY cheating. This replaces the "Pub Tune" from Ultima 9, a horrible, horrible song. In UO, it's used for Luna, a horrible, horrible town. Since Luna did not exist in the days of UO MIDI, I went back to Ultima 7 and stole the Marketplace Theme. Hopefully this will make Luna a bit more tollerable.

Probably a CRC check to make sure you have no modified files. Silly OSI. Another way would be to make a backup Digital folder, and just swap them back and forth ;->

Hmmm... I just patched without a problem from 7.0.12.0 all the way through 7.0.14.4....

Ahh, well that makes sense: From 6.x to 7.x they almost completely re-did the entire music folder from scratch.

I didn't like U9's music in UO. For the most part, anyway.

So, my old roomate who was taking music and computer science at ASU at the time, had already created a 128MB Sound Font for use with music production/composition on the computer.

I took this Sound Font, added a bit of classical style reverb to the playback, and used a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum to re-record all of the MIDIs to MP3.

I then went song by song and tried to match them up as much as possible to the original settings.

The end result is that you have the classic UO music, but at a much higher quality. You can finally really grasp just how good OSI was at making music, from Ultima III til Ultima Online, when using plain old MIDI.

I actually started up a hunter/tailor about three weeks ago on Demise.... Think I've logged on three or four times.

Other than that, I have my WoW server (which I log onto once or twice a week), and lately I finally got around to trying out the Lazarus mod for Dungeon Siege 1.


Generally speaking, though, I have almost no time to game anymore V_V

Ultima Online is as bad as methadone addiction, or cancer. Just stays with you.

WoW is OK to kill an hour or so, but it's (to me) still too "Do a mission or be bored out of your mind" for me to consider it a Main MMO (Even though I run an MMO server).

The Old Republic looks good (especially since BioWare is making it), but I'll take a Wait and See with it: The last Star Wars MMO had a LOT of great ideas, but was too bugy at launch for me to get into, and kinda fell into the background after WoW was released. I did like the "sandbox" feel of it, though... Kinda reminded me of UO compared to most MMOs.
