Update March 28, 2015 - Monstrous Interred Grizzle! / SW

The following changes have been made during server wars:
  • Added the Monstrous Interred Grizzle peerless to Bedlam. See Master Cohenn in Bedlam for the entry quest.
  • Mana regeneration on all peerless bosses has been increased.
  • Ilhenir has been corrected (weakened), and will no longer drop peerless loot. (It still drops champion artifacts!)
  • Ilhenir will now drop the Red Death statuette as its unique champion artifact. Previously, Ilhenir had no unique artifact, and that roll would be wasted.
  • Bedlam's graveyard has started giving off a poisonous aura that deals damage.
  • Grizzled mare stats/skills have been reduced to their correct values.
    • All existing grizzled mares have their stats/skills reduced as well, to within the trainable range of new grizzled mares. So, if you trained your grizzled mare, it will still be trained.
  • Potion kegs will now hold invisibility potions.
  • Using a soulstone will now check if you maintain enough skill for any skill-based transformations. (Previously this was only done when unequipping items with a skill bonus.)
  • Spellweaving changes (as seen on the Test Center):
    • Summon fey/fiend now costs mana per summon.
    • Corrected summoned feys/fiends (reduced hits and mana, greatly reduced magery).
    • (Custom) Players will obtain a 1-minute immunity to the Essence of Wind debuff when it expires naturally.
As always, comments and questions are welcome!

Yes. Grizzled mares are a lot closer to skeletal mounts on OSI, not hell steeds. The spawning stats are now:
Code:
100 strength
80 dexterity
100 intelligence

100 hitpoints (will raise with strength gains)
80 stamina (will raise with dexterity gains)
0 mana (will raise with intelligence gains)

5-7 damage

20% damage in every element

40-50% physical resist
30-40% every other resist
:space:
Any stat is trainable to 125, so your grizzled mare was converted to 125 intelligence (the max) and 25 mana (25 intelligence gains since 100).

Thanks for the Peerless boss. However...

We need hit area and momentum strike fixed now, to deal with the soulstone change.

Agreed... its been a long time since Hit Area range was cut in half, it went from 10 tiles to 5 tiles. But hit area is supposed to be effected by slayer, damage increase, etc.

Also if soulstones are going to check your skill for authenticity why can people have cu sidhes and nightmares bonded and on auto-follow but sampires cant keep vamp form on? Check OSI, people cannot bond pets and have them auto-follow them after they soulstone off taming. The pets just stand still and do not follow.

Also wind and thunderstorm used to be correct (no-debuff) but now they do have a debuff, and the supposed nerf is a custom change? If OSI is the model in these concepts I don't understand why certain things get nerfed to the ground and others don't.

It's getting increasingly more difficult to play anything that is not a mage on Demise.

Soulstoning off Necro for Vamp form for PvM doesn't hurt anyone... It's not like anyone is out there pvping in vamp form with 0 necro skill... It just makes playing dexxer in PvM more viable. But now we are one step closer to a 100% mage server. There is already virtually no point in playing dexxer in pvp unless you are an archer with a group of mages around you. But this change effects PvM templates viability greatly.

People should not be able to have bonded cu sidhes and nightmares following them around, that DOES effect pvp where as a sampire soulstoning off necro does not effect anybody, but people will be allowed to continue to soulstone off animal taming and have their bonded mounts follow them while sampires and other dexxer templates continued to get nerfed to the ground. You can see the market for Blacksmith Runics already cut to shreds because there is almost no point in burning weapons anymore unless its for a Tactics MAGE.

Again, it's getting increasingly difficult to play anything that is not a mage on Demise. I won't even get on the subject of casting because it's been brought up so many times over the years and its the most ignored bug ever. But god-forbid Sampires, which is purely a pvm template, can have a little more viability on their templates by soulstoning off necromancy...

You are being greedy bastard or else you wouldn't like to have 820 skillcap, while other PVM templates can have only 720 skills. Why don't we raise skillcap to 1000? What's the difference, it does not hurt anyone. Having 100 skills more allows you to kill faster, do spawn faster, gain more pixxels etc.. It doesn't only PVM but PVP too, what if there is a sampire with 820 skillcap, he has 100 skills more, additional RS or anatomy which he shouldn't have if he had only 720 skills. So people who raid your guild have bigger chance to lose due to that bug.

I was playing a melee dexxer both in PVP and PVM. I was doing well. Why do you care if the most people prefer to play mage rather than melee. It looks like they lose? Don't you think?

I asked Athena like 3 years ago, she replied it was on the OSI forever. It's not a bug.

Doesn't matter what template you have, you sit at luna bank anyway. But seriously If you view demise like that you should fight against me It will convince you dexxers are different, but not worse.
