Blood Sacrifice

The Dark Elves held a Blood Moon Ceremony tonight to the goddess Lolth. A blood sacrifice was demanded so a raiding party headed to the State of Yew. The only one they found was a strange dark elf with blonde hair who was drinking the human ale and could barely speak.

From there the raiding party traveled south to the Wolf Clan fortress where they encountered Two Wolves. They attempted to extract the blood sacrifice from him, but after a grueling battle the raiding party was defeated. They recovered quickly and returned to the task of demanding their blood sacrifice when a Wolf Clan elder came out and offered a peace offering and hope of an alliance between the Wolf Clan and The Dark Elves.

The raiding party decided to leave the Wolf Clan and head back north and return with word of the possible allies. As they were passing back through Yew, they were set upon by the scoundrel Wrongway and another member of the Seekers of Fortune as well as the traitor Two Wolves!

There was a prolonged battle and General Antorvir fought with great skill, but in the end the raiding party were outnumbered and outgunned and fell to the blades and bows of the surface dwellers.

The raiding party returned to their outpost where they met a stranger who wished to bring ruin upon the Wolf Clan. Still angered by the traitorous acts of Two Wolves and wanting revenge, the raiding party and the stranger returned to Yew. However, the surface dwellers had fled the scene perhaps fearing the dark elves return! The raiding party with the assistance of the stranger searched the area between the Wolf Clan and Yew but were unable to find any enemies.

Soon, the Blood Moon Ceremony will be performed again and Lolth will demand her sacrifice. The Dark Elves will not fail again!

Drow attacks

Wolf Clan village was targeted for raids by Drow in search of blood sacrifice for their disgusting god queen. They were fought off by Two Wolves after a long battle, but Wolf Mother arrived and brought out offerings to defuse the situation.

They continued their quest for blood, next by invading State of Yew territories. There they encountered resistance from Seekers of Fortune soldiers.

Engles was in Yew at the time, back in the workshop of the supply store. Lucky for him the dark forces busted into the tavern first then were intercepted at the crossroads or he would have surly fallen victim.

A New Threat in the Land

Attention all Seekers:

There is a new threat in the land. A few nights ago, Wrongway encountered a dark elf who had blockaded the road north of the Wolf Village. He cleared the road block and dispatched the joint orc/drow opperation. We had dismissed this as a one time encounter, but we had another encounter last night.

The Drow attacked our allies, the Wolf Clan, at the Wolf Village last night. The alarm was raised and Wrongway and A Guard responded to defend our Wolf Brothers. When Wrongway arrived at the yew crossroads there were two dark elves on the road who tried to stop him. A battle ensued. The enemy fought fiercely, but Two Wolves and Wrongway defeated them. Poor A Guard fell to the enemy and required much healing.

Later that evening a Dark Elf was observed scouting the Collective. Security measures are now in place.

All Seekers are encouraged to patrol the roads and protect travelers from these drow incursions.

Kragort has just completed a short scouting run from the Yew Crossroads to the Collective, and all was calm except encounters with the native troll guardians of bridges.

Meanwhile, Kragort's friend, Testri, a new recruit of the Yew Militia was seen taking it upon himself to defend Yew single handedly from hostile forces by setting up an impregnable fort in a well defended position as an ambush for those who dare tresspass on State of Yew grounds...

I was doing my usual scouting of the area today since I can see with out the blasted latern in the day light, when I wandered upon a pathetic human cutting wood by the tavern. I stalked him for a little while keeping hidden in the trees but i grew bored of this game and lured him out by quietly wistling which the human fell for right away. Then I demanded he bow down to his master and told him to leave now he then charged at me the crazy human did. After a quick struggle he fell I warned him to have his people leave our land or in one week we shall return to lay waste to there homes.

A Drow Encounter...

As news spreads of sightings of Drow in the State of Yew, newly recruited militiaman Testri decided to take it upon himself to defend his home from the Forces of Evil.

Singlehandedly, he built an impregnable fortress of wooden crates and stood fast and ready, arrow strung upon bow in anticipation of ambushing the foul beings.[see exhibit 1]

Mere moments later, Testri was under attack. A monster with two heads had wandered to the fortress, and started to stomp on it. Testri let loose his arrows, but what can mere arrows hope to do to such a creature!

As hope dwindled, a swarm of insects came out of nowhere and stung the creature to death [see exhibit 2]. Thinking he had been saved by a mircalous bee keeper, Testri turned round to thank his saviour.

Testri nearly choked. The saviour was no bee keeper.. it was a drow wytch in demon form! [see exhibit 3] Testri ran back to his mighty fort for dear life as the wytch approached.

The foul being sought to parlay with Testri, but Testri would have none of it![see exhibit 4] Angered, the wytch set fire to the fort. Brave Testri fought the flames valiantly. [see exhibit 5]

Testri's valiant fire stomping soon put out the fire. Impressed, the wytch agreed to be escorted out from Yew territory, and was seen off by Testri at the Yew moongate.

Testri returned to his fort happily.
