From the rules:

CRAFTING scrolls unattended is just like unattended resource gathering or unattended taming. Its a 3 strike bannable offense now

If you are unable to respond to a staff member when the staff member questions you, you will be considered UNATTENDED and actioned.

You could have read them and avoided some time in jail, but some people like to learn the hard way i guess.
