Dye Tubs

You guys realize that it doesnt have to be a gank area :/ We refrain from ganking shoppers at our gh vendor mall, and profusely res/appologize when it does happen. I for one wont bother to attack anyone inside/outside of it solely due to my love of customizing my colors, as long as their intent is to come and use the house to dye their things and be on their way.

true. Though Ive been known to ruthlessly and unapologetically kill cornwallis while he is at our vendors. I assure safe passage to the dye tub house though. (at least as far as HZ is concerned)....

The 'staff-proofing' as it were kind of pisses me off.

Half of the fun of having a solid color scheme for your character (and using hues that no one else does) is knowing how to manipulate those hues from various types of dye tubs to get what you want, to get what looks good.

This is... cheating. In my opinion.

If MB wants to let his guild all have access to it, that's fine, but if I'm allowed to access it (and the entire rest of the shard is as well) then I should be allowed to re-dye the tubs.

Whatever, you probably wear a copper vet reward robe and cape with an original white HoM and no shoes. Like your opinion matters.

So then via this logic, the inscription "bug" via soulstones to get the extra 0/5/5/5/5 is also cheating, as it's something you would learn to do over time, much like selecting the hue's from dyetubs that nobody knows about.

Dude. You are spot on! Seriously, why are you so bitter and why does your opinion matter so much more than mine or anyone elses?

What? Your logic is all over the place.

Taking the two situations... the scribe/soulstone bug and the dyetub hues and putting them side by side...

Having the dyetubs locked so that no one can change them and laying all the colors out like that is akin to setting up a property somewhere that has a neon sign saying "Come in on and learn how to do the inscription/soulstone bug, we'll even provide the soulstones!"

But really I don't know why you're trying to compare the two situations anyway... they're completely different.

What if I sculpt a giant penis with dye tubs and hued them? I could open up a museum to display my artistic capabilities and the staff will back me up? Yet, I can't offer up 50m and order a town invasion for the noobs, awesome.

This is clearly game breaking and should be fixed asap. << btw that was sarcasm i know its hard to pick up on that over the net.

Let's delete the vendor mall while we are at it.

You and Esk are both trying to compare apples and bananas. What's wrong with the vendor mall? I don't have a problem with it.

And it's not like I'm frothing with rage over the dyetubs man...I just think it's ridiculous. Why did the staff agree to lock all the colors? It's a kind of lost art, being able to find those hidden colors in the tubs. And now they're just on display for all to use.

Oh, but this shard is striving to be an OSI clone too. Don't forget that.

Lost art my ass, anyone with access to html colors could figure it all out. Not only that, but given enough boredom, you can select all these colors yourself.

I really don't see what YOUR apples are here.
