Explain factions

some one explain factions to me. I joined minax so is factions just like Order vs Chaos with 4 sides? Or is there more too it? I never played factions before so someone tell me what theys all about

yeah i guess you can compare it to order/chaos except you can get faction blessed items. you can also set traps to attack the other faction members.
