Faction?

I'm somewhat knew to factions and i just 7x'd my new character. he has about 2 days left in shadowlords and i wanna join a new faction. i was planning on joining CoM but i've heard some stuff about how they have to many members and what not. i hate TB so i probably wont join them so what faction has an average number of players and isnt gay?
