Alright I've followed this guide:
Instructions for Installing PlayUO - RunUO - Ultima Online Emulation
Several times now. I don't know why I can't get this working. I download sallos instead of the server. Every time i login to my accounts I get "PlayUO has encountered an error and must close". Show details gives me this:
System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'PlayUO.Hues' threw an exception. ---> System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'DefaultHue' threw an exception. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3DX, Version=1.0.2911.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

If someone could please help me get this thing up and running I'd be very appreciative. And I know there's a PlayUO forum but none of the posts answered my problem, and those forums don't get any traffic what so ever. If someone could at least point me to a thread with a problem like mine that was solved that'd be great. Thanks
