ep para you are stuck there for about 6-7 seconds so you can corps explo fs evil omen evil omen pain spike before most people can react, try carrying trap pouches or lesser poison pots to break the para.

auo has a mini heal mini cure hot key like razor did and if you look at my macros i use a targeting macro since auo smart last targets is kinda buggy atm.

but yes all my hot keys are set up though the uo client

excluding gheal arch cure para and para filed since i have those 4 set on my extra 2 mouse buttons.

The whole spamming lvl 1-3 spells is more along the lines of fcr not working as it should so people tend to spam lower lvl spells fast as hell atm.

Make sure you've selected your client.exe file on Client Options not UO.exe or another file, next version will have an auto detect.

So you dont use heal or cast spell with AUO. you just use the target system and I would guess you use hotkeys in Uo to cast your spell. maybe it was not you I saw at the gate not sure lol I know I seen Evy from atk cast omen para then he would have this huge combo alone before the para breaks or just stood still and heal cure like no tomorow and spam weak spells faster then most americans.

I know there is 2 of you with the same name but like i said am just trying to figure out how most high ping like myself can cast so fast.

You can check AssistUO forums and documentation as Two Wolves said, I've posted there macro samples using timers with fizzle checks on a thread, feel free to ask questions regarding AUO there too.

Keep in mind AssistUO is still release candidate we'll add MapUO (like a UO positioning system) with a few features for the next version (RC8), there will be probably a RC9 fixing any issues we found and stable releases after that.

I guess I'll try AUO when I get the time. Hope it works well, and I'm glad it is being worked on. I have always used razor, but just havn't had much time for play as of late. And razor has its limitations as well, so..... things change.

Not 100% certain why we need to keep getting client updates anyway. We have updates for several expansions we will never even use. So technically razor has no expiration date if we stopped.
How exactly does this fix problems by getting new stuff that opens up more problems to fix?

I use razor, strictly because when I use uoa I client crash everytime I go to Luna.I would use uoa if I could cure this problem.

I don't mean this as a slant to its creator. I'm just far to lacking in motivation to use another program to play the game. So maybe I'll throw my suit on my porch and if it goes south. Everyone can feel free to risk camping my pad for some decent shit. I'm cool that way =D

What's funny is that while some are crying about auo i am still getting over the dirty cheats using razor. Hotkeys!? Macros!? I mean would they bother creating spell icons if they weren't meant to be double clicked?? I say if you can't play via spell icon clicking and double clicking to chug pots then you have no place to whine. Targetting system is improved 100% since life bars are persistent and don't drop off screen.

So ok, a few event based new items for people to tinker with once in a great while...still not really sure if that makes sense to wash away razor via obsolescence.

I can definitely say, I'm not for killing off razor; nor do I think we need to let old clients on Demise. You're not thinking of a few more fundamental problems, such as a lot of changed map terrain, lots of missing artwork, including the art for a lot of the event rewards and holiday gifts, a fair few changed packets, etc.

Just for example, over the years we have made numerous temp world corrections in game with statics, in areas where the map has changed., and this was just a difference of a few minor revisions to the client. Then, when we get the latest client on the shard, we end up needing to go back and remove that stuff, cause it doesn't work right or look right with the new map. Years of these changes at once would cause serious amounts of problems with both inaccessible areas, and players getting stuck all over the place.

In my opinion, its just better practice to keep everyone in relatively the same versions.
