03/12/08 - Small Update to Server

I believe most of you up for SW noticed that the server was down for a little while longer than normal; however, this was all for a small update to the server. Change detail is as follows:

- Shard patched on server so players will need to update to 6.0.6.1
- Change added so players can connect using Port 80
- Log/Board weights should display correctly
- Commodity deeds for wood should display properly
- Number of accounts per household now raised to 4
- Can have 4 clients logged in at 1 time
- Boywer added to Luna to mimic NPCs on OSI
- Server optimization changes
- Small bug fixes
- Changes to staff related functionality

Can you cut special wood into boards now and it retain its orginal info or is that still not working? I thought boards weighed less than 1 stone before (like 10/stone). Oh well.

Logs still do not cut right into boards so don't do it. That is definitely a known problem and as soon as it is fixed we'll tell you asap. I know that there are a lot of changes that have yet to take place but we really hope you understand the time that goes into it and can be patient for a bit more.

I dont necessarily think it means you can have 4 accounts, i think it just means you can have 4 logged in (I.E. 3 of yours, and 1 of a friend)

I already had a template really similar to that one, it was having necromancy instead of magery though and SS instead of the second hide :)

Speaking of what goes where: When the devs begin publishing missing and broken AoS and ML features to Demise, will announcements be posted to the Publish Notes or Shard News forum? It looks like the Publish Notes forum has never been used.

OMG!!! THX STAFF!!! I love the 80 port fix. I can now play at work again *hides in shame*, since we got a badass cisco firewall and i had to use dial up to trade at least.
