They had an open beta for the last... well... for a while. The game goes P2P thurday, and the servers will be down tomorrow.
If you wanna try it out for... well... a few hours, go to www.ryl.net and test it. The one month option is $11.
Its a great game. If you dont wanna pay for it, I may stop playing all games soon... so ill give you my account (MAYBE... and this is only a month or two from now).
But... the game itself is worth it. Quick rundown about it: 2 races. Each race has different qualities, strengths and skills. The race I prefer, the Ak'kens, are the SHIT. 6 character types: Templar (takes a lot of damage to kill... uses a weapon in one arm and a big guard, like a shield, as the other arm), Attacker (does a lot of damage... uses a weapon in one arm and an attacker arm as another. Basically... a lot of damage), Gunner (can shoot from far... uses a weapon in one arm and a gun in the other), and 3 differnt Officiators. Life Ofc (healer), Shadow Ofc (assassin) and Rune Ofc (offensive). Thats just the one race. Theres also the humans.
It goes a lot further than that... but the game is amazing. www.ryl.net.

I want to play college rpgs mmo's.
You play a college guy who tries to be popular in college.
As you start as a frosh you play games like quarters, beer pong, boat races whatever. As you win you get repuation and some money.
The higher the rep the more ladies will get with you and do more and more stuff with you on the first date.
Your drinking game skills also increase. Like you can nail in all your cups in one turn playing beer pong at the grandmaster lvl.
As you progress in the game you get to be the leader of a frat and host huge wicked parties; and hopefully porn stars come by to bang you.
You can also pvp by using "beer muscles". The more you drink the more you are in tune with your body. So you can fight like superman. You need to be weary of your intoxification lvls as when you puke and pass out you get your ass kicked. However by lvling up you can drink more and more.
There are diffrent factions and social enviorments of the game. But to be the best you dont actually go to classes and just go to parties every night to drink and bang the next hottie.
Man this would be the best mmo ever.

It depends. They are good in duels I'd say, not PvP though. This being mainly because their success hinges greatly on what pet they use, and the pets that are ideal for grinding, are vastly different than those useful in PvP. So if you get the drop on a warlock who has his VW out, he's as good as dead; however, if they somehow manage to sneak up on you with their succubus out and can chain fear/charm you, it's over. If you resist one fear or charm and/or it breaks early, they're pretty much left helpless as they have no other snares/cc, nor a reliable way to heal.
