A Reminder from your Friendly Neighborhood LC

OK ....

I enjoy role playing in UO and quite honestly, these forums are really starting to piss me off. For some reason, the role players are having to tolerate the stupidity of what non-role players think is fun.

The description for this forum explicitely states:

Pull up a chair and grab an ale, ye'r amongst friends now. Roleplaying forum, in-character posts only.

I just finished cleaning up a bunch of bull posts about people being obese, rolling around to win a race, and tofu turkey.... I've personally had it.

These forums are for the role players - not for others to come in here and make ridiculous statements and troll. So, yea - LC is on this forum full time now and I guarantee I'll be issuing vay-cay's to anyone who wishes to use this forum for any purpose other than what it was designed for.

I will permit out of character posts provided they are marked as such (marked [OOC] in the subject line) and are there for the benefit of or to advance role play on Demise and not some pathetic masked attempt to just be a forum troll.

I created some very general rules for the forum. If you have any suggestions to better the RP forums here, please post a reply here or PM me. I'd be happy to listen.

Ah, beggin your pardon, M'lady, but that was Wrongway. I, Bjorg, never touch the stuff. It is a vile creation of the dark one. Poor old Wrongway, *sighs* he is addicted to the stuff. He's particularly bad about drinking whenever he goes on a sea voyage... and whenever he passes a tavern... and well, basically anytime anyone offers! *frowns*

Fortunately, for us, his drinking never seems to affect his aim with his bow. He still shoots straight as the finest elven arrows.

As for the name of our Barkeep, her name is Aqueine (I think), but rest assured she's already cut him off. Somehow he still manages to get plenty of the stuff... I think that is why he's always volunteering to go into Britain for groceries.

My sincerest apologies, sir - but perhaps he should be sent with an escort when he tramples off to gather groceries... does he truly return with them or just the stench of ale upon his breath?

He always returns with groceries, but it does take him an unusually long time to get back home. I always just assumed he was cavorting with the bar wenches in town. Which I suppose he is probably doing that as well. *looks disgusted*
