Dunno if this can be useful information, but I remember from back a few years, possibly 2006?, that when you killed and looted an ant lion, there was occasionally a pile of bones in it's corpse, when you hovered over it with the mouse pointer, it would say 'the remains of an unknown bard'.

So I take it this was more accurate towards OSI now, back in the days on Demise? If so, would it be possible to go through the older AntLion.cs and use some of the information to fix any of the problems?

I do not know what to look for in the code, else I would have been helping out if possible, but I would probably cause way more problems then I could solve.

Yes those are already in (was just a bug with names). There are however 4 versions of unknown skeletons, but only 3 in the script. I didnt script 4th because its really really really rare and i couldnt get it. So if someone has it or remembers whats in them please yell...

Here are some fixes:

I thought there were 5 of them total. Bard, Rogue, Mage, Healer and Warrior. Here is a patch file containing 5 sets of unknown skeletons. I don't have an active account now so I cannot verify that there are 5 of them.

All that stratics sais is that it contains An Adventurer's Skeleton. UOGuide only states An Adventurer's Skeleton and An Unknown Rogue's Skeleton.

Im sure 4th one is of unknown adventurer's, but i dont know whats in it.

I've gone with Malganis' patch for this one. I've killed hundreds of ant lions on OSI and have only got the same unknown bones that Malganis reported. This will be the patch used unless someone can provide proof of the other unknown bones.

Theres one more set of bones, i just dont know whats in them and i dont have osi account anymore to get them. :(

We can keep it as it is until we find out what the other unknown bones are. It can be updated when/if we find this information out, even if this goes into the SVN before then. I know I've killed about 450 of them now and still haven't come across any other unknown bones.

I have just been on Demise tc and have killed over 150 of these things.
Everything is working as it should based on the reports and info we have and i can't break/crash it.
There is just one tiny thing that dosn't seem to match and that is the contents of the mage skeleton.(see pic) I.P reported that it should contain some regs and scrolls.

Always 9 items
Always 3 different types of reagents ( between 15 - 20)
Always 2 different types of scrolls ( 1 - 2 )
A ring or bracelet no mods
A robe
Pair of sandals
Quarter staff no special mods not even spell channeling
Never any gold

What looks strange in Uome's screen shot is the mouse over on the weight 9/0
On OSI those containers locked down or in another container read 1 way and when in your back pack another way.Either way they do not show like they do in Uome's screen shot
Here are some shots from OSI

Maybe get Esqarrouth to confirm on Demise TC how they really are not like my screen shots

Thats a good observation, how did i miss that? *Smacks head*
Is there no max weight limit to them on osi or is the max weight limit just not displayed?

The bones are another thing that I noticed that is different
On Demise they are already cut and always 3
On OSI 3 bone types drop but 1 can be a skull which can not be cut
The ant lion animates the same on Demise and OSI
First 2 screen shots are Demise TC the others Baja OSI

It looks like the patch has been taken off Demise TC. ;)
When i checked it ant lions had different bone types and sometimes one of them was a skull that couldn't be cut ect.

That container things is because locked down containers dont have weight limit (all runuo containers show 0 max weight when locked down).

How many bones do you get from cutting up both facing spine types?

On restarting my TC after Lady R's testing the other day i have encountered a problem with this.

Seems to be related to the saving of mage skeletons.
After getting the server back up i added a few more mage skeletons and did a restart with save and i got the same error.
Here it is:

There was some lines of code missing from the unknown skeleton patch, this patch should fix it. I've put it back into Testing and updated the TC.
