Blacksmithy Guide!

It's really easy if you have around 10k ingots. At least i used 10k ingots to GM in about 5 hours with 30 tinkering at start, making tools included and smelting every item i made.

You really have to start with 50 Blacksmithy :), so i imagine you did.

from 50 to 65 make krysses (you can start making short spears at 62 or 63)
from 65 to 85 make short spears (you can start making gorgets at 82 or 83)
from 85 to GM make plate gorgets (you can make plate arms from 95 to GM but all these alternatives makes you burn more ingots, so i think it's the cheapest way) :)

And use razor macro, i set it up like this:

Double click tongs (0FBB)) - Record by double clicking then convert by type (make a lot of tongs :))
Wait for gump (Any)
Gump response (Button XX) - you click the what item you are going to make
Wait for gump (Any)
Pause 1.00 sec
Gump response (Button XX) - You click smelt button
Wait for target
Target by type ####### You click item which you want to smelt
Pause 1.00 sec
If (journal contains "you have worn out your tool")
Close gump (i needed this one, dunno why if i didn't it looped menu "you have worn out your tool" and didn't start double clicking new tongs.

Then just mark loop and start your macro, you just need to take ingots from bank or secure and make tongs all the rest is auto
;)

Enjoy

My method:
50-95 short spear
95-GM gorget

Burn everything and it takes around 7.5k ingots for fresh new char.

I had to do the last two lines of your macro:

If (SysMessage "you have worn out your tool")
Close gump

ExecuteMacro (Restock 1)
Pause 4.00
If SystemMessage ("you have worn out your tool")
dblClickbyType Tongs
Pause 2.00
GumpButton 21 (Make Last)
Pause 3.00
GumpButton (Smelt)
Pause 2.00
TargetByType (Weapon)
Else
Pause 2.00
GumpButton 21 (Make Last)
Pause 3.00
GumpButton (Smelt)
Pause 3.00
EndIf

If you use the WaitForTarget and WaitForGump, razor tends to get stupid a lot of the time. That's why I put pauses instead of Waits.

But this will restock ingots for you, provided you have restock set up. All you need to do is make the first weapon and have the tongs menu open before you start the macro.

Powerscrolls for mining do not exist here or on the official servers, so you can't have 120 mining. 100 mining is the max.
