@Artenios Thank you
2. How is the replica chance distributed among the players? (*what counts - monster killed/monster that you got looting rights from/actual damage dealt to the spawn*) (*how does party influence artifact distribution*) (*does monsters fame influence drops*) (*does the chance of champion dropping the artifact accumulate with each monster killed on the spawn - meaning if a player would let candles drop several times and killed more monsters to regain them - would it increase the artifact chance*)
The chance that a champion drops an artifact is always the same, regardless of how many monsters are killed, how long the spawn took to complete or how many players are present. It has a 5% chance for a "unique" artifact, 10% chance for a "shared" artifact and 15% chance for a "decorative" artifact. This adds up to a 30% chance that any artifact will drop from a champion.
If an artifact is dropped, a "random" person of all "eligible" players receives it. Being eligible means: you're alive, inside the champion region, and your backpack could hold the artifact. The random person is determined by everyone's individual damage dealt to the entire champion spawn (both monsters and the champion boss). When a monster dies, all damage dealt by everyone is added to their individual totals, as long as the last of their damage was dealt within 2 minutes of the monster's death. Having loot rights is not required for the damage to count, and the monster's fame or toughness is not a factor.
Specifically, everyone's damage is stacked on top of each other and a random point in that giant stack is chosen. Whoever owns the damage at that random point, gets the artifact. This means that the more damage you do, the higher your chance will be. But, with some luck, you
could get the artifact even when your total is 1 damage.
If there are no eligible players to receive the artifact, the artifact is deleted. Being in a party has no effect on the distribution.
