How to leave your faction?

I have been using the faction trick and would like to leave the faction.

I have been trying to double clicking the sign up stone hoping that I can leave it but without success.

Could anyone explain how may one leave the faction?

There are 2 stones for every faction. The join stone is NOT the stone you need. Find the other stone for your faction and you will be able to leave. For example, the Brit Faction signup stone is out by the portculis doors at Brit Throne Room; however, the second stone is inside the throne room.
