There are quite a few role players. But there are also quite a few guilds. I doubt that any one of them can put on more than five players at once one day a week at this time.
That is where alliances come in. The one that is active is [DAA] Demise Adventurers Alliance. It is an alliance of Hardcore, Full time, Semi-RP and RP friendly guilds of all kinds.
Till recently you would have had to join one of the member Guilds. Now [DAA], the alliance leadership guild is open to direct membership.
This was opened up since the declaration of War between [DAA] and [Evil], the alliance of evil RP guilds.
When joining [DAA] you will not be in an enforced RP alliance, however direct members of [DAA] and [Evil] are those who have agreed to RP combat.
When joining [DAA] you will be able to get in touch with players from other guilds everyday around the clock. They may not always be RP characters.
If you have existing RP characters already developed, staring in [DAA] is a good way to meet the other RP Guilds and see if they fit your needs.
