Q:

How exactly does magery and inscription effect the spell Magic Reflection?

A:

The number of skill points in magery and inscription decides how many Circles of Reflection you get from the spell Magic Reflection. The actual formula for calculating how many Circles of Reflection your character has or can get is directly below.

Circles of Reflection = 1 + (Magery+Inscription)/100)x 7

So a typical mage without inscription but with 100 magery would have 8 Circles of Reflection when they cast the spell Magic Reflection on themself. A mage with 100 magery and 100 inscription would get the maximum number of Circles of Reflection which is 15. If you dont have the cash or patience to get 100 in both skills I would recommend 100 magery and ~86 inscription. This will get you 14 Circles of Reflection which is still really good.

A: Spells up to 6th Circle will not fizzle, but 7th Circle have a 15% chance to fizzle and 8th Circle have a 50% chance to fizzle.

A: Slayer instuments are instruments that increase the chance of using bard skills on a particular monster or group of monsters by 20%. Slayer instruments have names like "Repond", "Troll Slaughter", and "Elemental Ban". Slayer instruments can be found as loot on monsters.

Q: What is arcane clothing?
A: Arcane clothing is clothing that allows spells to be cast without the use of regs. Charges of arcane clothing will only be used up if reagents are unavailable in your inventory. Charges on arcane clothing are deducted at 1 charge per circle of spell being cast. Charges may be refilled by putting arcane gems in the clothing.

Arcane clothing (only available in cloak, robe, gloves, and boots) is made by tailors. The ammount of charges on a piece of arcane clothing is equal to 1 per 5.0 points of tailoring (a max of 24 charges).

Q: Can arcane clothing be blessed?
A: No, this will cause the piece of clothing to turn non-arcane. Trying to make blessed clothing arcane will cause it to turn non-blessed.

Q: What bonuses are granted at higher veterinary skill?
A: At 60.0 skill, pets can be cured of poison. At 80.0 skill, bonded pets can be ressurected.

Equivalent animal lore skill is required as well.

Q: What happens when you plant a green thorn?
A: Depending on where you plant it, a variety of things can happen.
Planting a green thorn in grass or dirt will cause reagants to spawn. Planting in farm soil will cause a vorpal bunny to spawn. Planting in the snow or ice will cause a Giant Ice Worm to spawn. Planting in swampland will cause a Whipping Vine to spawn. Planting in the jungle will cause monsters to spawn. Planting in lava will cause regs to spawn, which immediately burn up. Planting in desert will open a hole to a different part of Solen Hiven than can normally be accessed.

The most common use for green thorns is to spawn vorpal bunnies, which drop considerable loot.

A: UO can be run using Wine if the client has been unencrypted, although Razor cannot be run due to its dependance on .NET framework.

A: Not directly, though it is often combo'd with other spell that can, Meteor Swarm for instance. Earthquake will not bring your hit points below 1.

A: How often you can collect is dependant on your tailoring/blacksmithing level. At 100 or above skill, there is a 3 hour delay between collecting bulk order deeds. At lower skill, the time is less.

A: No, but objects on the ground do, as well as nearby boats if positioned properly.
