Once, the Lasombra were nobles, but the chaos of Lasombra history and the formation of the Sabbat have caused most of them to turn their backs upon their origins. Now, they give themselves wholly over to the damnation of being vampires while they co-exist and wait for the war to begin within our own kind. We act as though we are humans, living upon them during the light, but when the dark is upon us, we sell our fated gift as an assassination service, also giving us a way to feed, but on those whom deserve it. The Sabbat has affected this clan as profoundly as the Lasombra have affected the Sabbat, and without the rulership of these fallen aristocrats, the Sabbat would likely disintegrate. About a century ago, Klarissa Mistfang, our leader, allied with the Setite Clan leader, Anath Orettana, for she is like a younger sister towards Kay (Klarissa). With our clans by one another’s side, we shall rise up and rule again! It’s only a matter of time, for Klarissa’s older brothers, Abel and Bryce, Leaders of Ventrue and Lasombra, whom led her into this fate, have come for her. Originating from the first 3 vampires, the Shadow Society has come a long way. Klarissa is not like her brothers, and she fights for our safety, as well as our freedom. Other Kindred (vampire folk) despise the Followers of Set, and the clan claims only one allie The Shadow Society. Nonetheless,many vampires seek out the Tremere, as the clan is whispered to possess arcane gifts and secrets from elder nights. Inevitably, sin and debasement follow in their wake, and many princes refuse to allow them in their cities. Some sinister purpose unites the Followers of Set, and they are one of the few clans rumored to have constant contact with their founder. Many Kindred rightly fear these vampires, for their very presence is often enough to set a Kindred down the road to ruin.The were origonally called the Setites but the master Anath decided a better name would be Tremere.
