NON-COMBAT EVENT INFORMATION
INTRODUCTION
Events do exist on Demise that do not require combat; however, this is not a guarantee that a normally non-combative event can't become combat oriented. These events are split between early notification and spontaneous hosting.
Events that are normally considered non-combat events are:
INSURANCE AND ITEM LOSS
Normally, these events mean that combat related activities are not going to occur; however, this does not mean that the scenario absolutely cannot occur. For instance, if a player is looking for scavenger items in Trammel, while a scenario for PvP may not occur, the individual may run into reaper valley which would put the person in a position to either PvM or run. Because these instances can happen, the player should never ignore the option of insurance or carry items around he or she does not wish to lose. Basically, even though you are participating in an event does not exclude you from item loss.
If you lose your items or your corpse during one of these events, the staff will not replace your items. While the overal objective of the event is not related to combat, this does not mean you cannot place yourself in a position where combat is required.
