You saw someone selling a single purple petal for 10k? Jesus dude, no, they are worth 500gp-1k a piece. I guess if you find some rich fuck you could sell them for 2k a pop, good luck though. Then again if there is anyone out there that wants to buy them for 10k a petal I've got one or two thousand I can part with.
