The following is a list of changes, fixes, and updates that have gone onto the server.

Yet again, I'm blatantly stealing Xavier's typing skills for my own evil purposes due to my laziness and the fact we have him chained to a 486 running Borland C 24/7

1. A bug was found, related to recent petball changes that has been fixed.

2. Spellweaving: Natures Fury is changed to respect housing security, fix a double-damage bug, correct its base damage, and prevent an exploit allowing the casting of NF through doors.

3. Ninja: Animal Form gumps corrected.

4. Ninja: An issue causing Ninjitsu to not calculate faster casting/faster cast recovery properly is fixed.

5. Ninja: Animal Form did not properly check mana/consume mana. This is solved by adding a second check at the point of gump response.

6. Taming/Pets: Pets/players will now properly show "guarding"/"guarded" status on mouseover.

7. Taming/Pets: Buffs were not correctly applying to pets. This patch fixes that.

8. General AI: FightMode.Evil did not correctly cause a mobile to attack negative karma creatures.

9. Other: A bug allowing a player to give an attacker many counts for one attack. This patch clears the attackers list after reporting murders - preventing exploitation of the combatant system.

10. Housing: An incorrect error response for invalid targeting is corrected.

11. Housing: customization tool is incorrectly charging a base fee for committing.

12. Quests: The impresario did not check the player's backpack for the gold to purchase sheet music as he should.

13. Crafting: axes can now be used on logs to create boards. This functionality was also removed from the crafting gump Post-ML. This also implements the creation of colored boards. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ACTUAL CRAFTABLES YET.

14. Ethereals: Lets try applying the *correct* correct casting times now!

15. Necromancy: Summon Familiar, dark wolf was not giving the appropriate taming advantages when trying to tame wolves with a dark wolf summoned.

16. Creatures: kappas and deathwatch beetles now will perform their special moves and attacks. Solen's acid pools will show the correct "drying" state graphics also. (Partial, poolofacid needs to be updated again)

17. The time for an account to be flagged Inactive has been changed from 90 days to 180 days.

If you used a macro from the previous animal form set up and attempt to use it you will disconnect from the server.

So all macros with animal form will have to be remade. (this is due to the new gump most likely)

the flag system is now severly bugged


i was just RKed by a blue player in guards and could not call guards or give the player a murder count

Since it's confirmed, it should be added:

17: The barding difficulty of creatures depends by their maximum health, mana and stamina, and not by the current health/mana/stam. This patch fixes it.

That means, the trick to harm creatures to lower their barding difficulties won't work anymore.

Before the storm of complaints about raging bard-tamers happen, I wish to precisate this fix wasn't done by the Demise Community, but by the RunUO Community itself, that's why it wasn't traced and not included in the changelog.

hmmm... if that is confirmed, it's much likely to be an urgent issue...

Join D.C. or ITP. No but on a serious note, that seems to be a pretty significant bug.

Yes, recreating animal form macros fixes the disconnects.

I always thought that the commit cost was intended.
Great news! :p

Oh and it's interesting how furies had two damage types at 100% at the same time...
Makes me wonder how it worked... Go figure.

Yes. Simply made a new macro recording the new gump reaction.

The official word is from Mark: "well demise has 180 days to be inactive now".

Logic says that houses that were in IDOC prior to the update will have 3 more months before they start into the decay cycle again.
