Re: SVN 368 Update (August 8th, 2009)

Ok just wanted to be sure. In the IRC clip I saw, Mark said he changed it to 180 from 120, yet I thought it was 90 before the change. A bit confusing there. Plus, did the change reset all timers back to 0 or just add 90 days (or 60) to whatever they currently were?

Changing that number should as far as know just add an extra 90 days.

5. Ninja: Animal Form did not properly check mana/consume mana.
This is solved by adding a second check at the point of gump response.

Is ninja animal form supposed to check mana when you are changing back to human form?
Is changing back to human form supposed to consume mana?
Thank you.

Yes, it consumes mana to return to human form on OSI.

The aggressor system needs to be looked at. The old system was such that from the time player a attacks player b, it would be 120 seconds until the aggressor system reset. Now it appears to reset on player b's death.

Oh and it's interesting how furies had two damage types at 100% at the same time...
Makes me wonder how it worked... Go figure.
IIRC, the code for dealing damage was relatively simple: it took the final damage number, then multiplied it individually by each element, and then applied those elements against the target's resistance. So if the percentages added up to anything OTHER than 100%, it'd do respectively more/less damage. 100%+100% = 200%.
