UOGamers: Hybrid Video Archive System
We've recently introduced a system that records and archives specific events as they occur. These recordings are then made instantly available to players through the use of Razor's packet video system. Currently, all duels and tournaments will be recorded, but this may eventually be expanded to other events as well.
To use the system, simply type the following command:
[videos
Doing so will bring up an interface similar to the following:
From here, you are able to filter the list of videos presented to you, and then select any video that sparks your interest. Clicking the right arrow next to a video will bring up the following:
This screen allows you to see more detailed information about a specific video. To actually view the videos, you will need to be logged in to the latest version of Razor. Then, simply check the confirmation box, and press okay. You will be prompted by your browser to save or open the file. Generally, it's easiest to just hit 'open,' and it will be loaded into Razor automatically. From there, you will automatically be focused on the video pane, where pressing the 'play' button will start the movie.
Enjoy, and we'd love to hear any feedback!
