zomg help w/ my pc

so... im assuming it's a virus because im impatient and usually don't care what i do on my computer but right now i'm feeling the consequences of it ( if my problem is a virus)

whenever i try to go to www.microsoft.com or any link to microsoft i get a dns server error

or does anyone know an alternate link to DL silverlight from? i'd kill to watch IT crowd on netflix right now
