Here we go… Thanksgiving is upon us and we here at UOGamers have a lot to be thankful for! Our community is growing, the server is really starting to take shape and the launcher is out. We’ve done all of this, since the re-launch as a community and we appreciate everyone who’s contributed to getting us where we are! Here are the improvements for tonight’s patch:

  • Server is updated to use our client files, this means that going forward, you should ensure that your data path is pointed at the data files from the launcher, or to make things simple, use the launcher itself.
  • 30×30 and 24×24 house foundations are now available, we will monitor this closely for any issues
  • [BotReport command has been added!
    • This will log reports against accounts for metric tracking
    • It will as notify our staff members on Discord immediately
    • We will then determine the next course of action and no you won’t be notified 😉
  • Valorite Faction Weapons will now be blessed as intended for the game.
  • Light Source Spell Channeling Deeds are now available on the store.
  • Dungeon Light Source Bless Deeds are now available on the store and as a rare drop in the dungeons.
  • Dungeon Loot item rarity has been bumped up a little to make the dungeon items a little easier to attain.
  • Thanksgiving items will start being delivered on 11/25 UTC
  • Hybrid Beetle spawns are now released
  • Ethereal turkeys have been added
  • The Thanksgiving Turkey mini-boss (above image) has been added. While not quite as powerful as a Harrower, the Thanksgiving Turkey has a chance to drop rare hued items.
    • Items will have the hue 2503 – better known as the Pilgrim Hue
    • Ethereal Turkeys can be dropped by the mini-boss
    • It will additionally have the opportunity to drop Turkey Armor as you can see below!
    • The turkey will spawn in one location only, you’ll need to find that location, sharing it is up to you!

We will be taking the server down at 2130 EST (9:30 PM) for this patch. Our expected downtime is about 10 minutes.

We appreciate your continued support!
