I am just saying it was and would be a lot funner for you guys if healing was a larger factor on the field. I read these forums and whether you admit it or not, off-screening is something people bring up incredibly often and complain of. It was a problem around the time that I finished playing here and I'm sure it is even a bigger one now. Things were just different, and I think they have changed for the worst.

How long do you think teterios would survive in the field if he was forced to heal rather than off screen like he does every dump? Remember dream team? They had all the pixels, blood roses, and roses of trinsic on the server and were absolute tanks in the field because they would simply off screen as soon as they saw people load up, but they got their asses busted in tournaments because they weren't skilled enough to act as a unit and keep each other alive when they had to stick around. Skill should always be favored over cowardice. It was always so frustrating knowing this for years and not seeing the server do shit about it.

They go out on the field with 130 str and literally take full dmg EVERY SYNC. Now my crew is a different story, we win 95% of the 2v2/3v3 tourneys because we are boss healers. One of our guy's even came up with mini healing through a nox/fs dump with no other healers. Nobody else I have seen can do that. My point is, you have to know your battles. If you're fighting 3V6+ then staying on screen going sync for sync is just stupid and I would call that a rookie mistake. Now if it's an even numbed fight then you definitely should stay on screen but nobody does.

my suggestion is to slow mounts so that you can go maybe 20% faster than on foot. this would drastically change the metagame. For example, if someone is mounted and in the middle of your screen they can outrun your ebolt. In other words, they can make it offscreen with only taking explode damage. If that person is on foot, they will take both explode and eb damage as they cannot run enough tiles away to avoid your damage.

Fixing mounts = quick fix to offscreening.
