We wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates we’ve made to both the server and client!
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve your gameplay experience, and we’re thrilled to finally share these changes with you all.
The server will come down in 2 hours to apply the updates. YOU MUST VERIFY FILES.
Server Updates
- The server now handles all current OSI files, allowing us to see all new items and multis (houses)
- Players can now move over all impassable items while dead (as long as the item is movable)
- Added a bunch of custom art and monster animations
- All clients outside of the launcher are now blocked and will disconnect you
- Combat text will no longer show over healing values
- Remove trap has been tweaked to make TMaps level 4+ easier and more consistent to open
Veritas Client Updates
- You can now drag the bottom right corner of the game screen to resize it
- Radar can now be made much larger
- Seasons can now be changed or set to server default
- Veritas now handles new Gump/Multi/Anim files from OSI’s recent update
- Veritas will now attempt to move over impassable items and allow the server to decide if it can actually move or not
ClassicUO Updates
- Updated to the most recent version
- ClassicUO will now attempt to move over impassable items and allow the server to decide if it can actually move or not
Coming Soon: Rift Overhaul
We’re working on a major overhaul to the Rift system:
- Rifts will now use Instances as their foundation (built on our Raids development work)
- Pack density and mechanics are being modified
- A new gump interface is in development
- Many more changes to be announced as we get closer to completion
This overhaul will serve as a test bed for new features that we plan to expand upon for the Raids system.
