Alabama and LSU will be the top contenders, barring another Cam Newton-like surprise. If the Mad Hatter continues his luck streak, LSU will be your 2011 champs.

This second remark saved me the trouble of looking up statistics. The problem is that Florida is down. That makes a huge difference in the overall worth of the SEC.

And auburn will get sanctioned by the ncaa
but I sort of agree with saiiriel. The big ten I would say is second we just disagree at how close I think there is a huge drop off between 1 and 2. Then I would have said pac ten but they are down after usc go sanctioned and PeteCarrol left which leaves Oregon. I don't see tcu or boise repeating what they did last year and the rest of the mountain west is just shit. Big 12 is loosing there two best schools so there out.

Tcu and Boise will continue doing what they are doing until they actually get into a "Big boy conference"
which Tcu will be in Big east after this year along with Utah going to pac10 but boise is a bitch they going from wac to mountain west.so they contoniue picking on weaklings.
As far as the SEC goes and the bottom of the charts, every conference has a few BAD ones but the Overall worth of the SEC will beat the overall worth of any other conference day in and day out.

As much as I would like to see that happen, out of hatred for:
-Cam
-Bank fraud that landed Auburn boosters millions in Bailout Money (from our pockets)
-Pat Dye being a known dirtbag
-Bobby Lowder the crook
-Milton McGregor the, bigger, crook
but not Auburn or its fans, I highly doubt that anything will ever come of the Newton investigation. The rigged slot machines might fuck Auburn but I think the NCAA decided that it wanted Auburn to win a National Championship and a Heisman regardless of Cam's eligibility. It was too beautiful to resist. Good business.

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!
MAD HATTER MY ASS.
NEVER has there been such a dominate performance as was seen on January,9,2012. ROLL DAMN TIDE

In all honesty, I've just about lost all my interest in college football; each season has left me feeling more suspicious. Wake me up in 2014 when supposedly we'll finally have a playoff system. It's not like it'd be that hard to implement: give automatic bids to all ELEVEN conferences, and then just assign 5 wildcards as the BCS would currently see fit. The whole point is that upsets can and do happen. (How 'bout them NY Giants?)

If one's so desperate to have all those "bowl games," they can be figured in there somewhere, such as "consolation bowls" for those eliminated from the playoffs, or even those not going whatsoever. Or, a lot of them could just be eliminated: too bad for the sponsors! Bowl title sponsorship was a stupid idea anyway. I'm *still* embarrassed (silence, Bama!) that my state's contribution to the FBS post-season carries the name of the "Little Ceasar's Pizza Bowl."

A few years ago Alabama's FBS post season carried the name of "Papa John's Pizza Bowl"

On the bright side it was good to finally see the SEC lose in the BCS Championship Title Game
BAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

COB?
Chief of the Boat: Very aware, sir!
Capt. Ramsey: It bears a proud name, doesnt it, Mr. COB?
Chief of the Boat: Very proud, sir!
Capt. Ramsey: It represents fine people.
Chief of the Boat: Very fine people, sir!
Capt. Ramsey: Who live in a fine, outstanding state.
Chief of the Boat: Outstanding, sir!
Capt. Ramsey: In the greatest country in the entire world.
Chief of the Boat: In the entire world, sir!
Capt. Ramsey: And what is that name, Mr. COB?
Chief of the Boat: Alabama, sir!
Capt. Ramsey: And what do we say?
Capt. Ramsey, Chief of the Boat: Go Bama!
