server population and activity have nothing to do with sallos at all. it as to do with shard exposure and promotion. simple as that.

our direct competition second ___ is averaging 700/750 now when they only ever used to be at 400/450.

now its a complete role reversal.
we decline,
they grow.
and they have no sallos......

if sallos was re added, take our current numbers and ad 30 clients at most....

people just need to take promotion into their own hands at this point i think. create twitters, tweet out our sever info, let people know we are here, let people know people still play UO. create facebook groups. post our info on UO releated youtube videos that you know thousands of players view, not hard to figure out..

and please never bring sallos back.. was just a buncha goon meat heads running around thinking they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. this is UO, not some FPS. sallos was a disease to uo.. a disease that is finally gone.

I actually work 6 days a week on most work weeks so I doubt il be standing in the unemployment line anytime soon.

Also ive played on razor for 4+ years and have played on sallos for 3+ years. You dont have to explain to me how much effort/time it takes to setup tedious macros to do anything/everything on each specific char while suiting up to pvp. TRUST ME I KNOW.

Population has dropped quite a bit since sallos went down so hence it would be that much harder/unlikely to run into people. Simpe math.

And the thing someone said about mares being transformed into swampees lol, really?? I have not heard / seen one thing about that ever. Has anyone see someone using 2 swamp dragons shooting FB on people? No you havent. Other people please chime in here, but that's just made up most likely by a razor user who heard that from his friends crazy grandma. You people glad sallos is gone should be wary of what you wished for. For me it's not a huge issue, the server being in this declined stage has not had me missing it, doing other things.

Just feel people are over exagerating this sallos thing being the devil. Now that its gone and you see things declining further has to make you wonder if it was actually hurting things.

Problem with sallos is that the small % of people who used the plug ins cast a lot of doubt on sallos as a client. The other problem is that a lot of sallos users stopped playing, and a lot of razor auo players stopped playing because the sallos players were in a lot of the normal conflicts - less people fighting, meaning less people to fight.

I'm sure it will rebound one way or the other, i'm fine with sallos coming back if they remove the recall feature and ensure that plugins or other cheat clients are not possible - if they cannot be very sure of that then it's likely better off dead for good.

Worst part is for a guy like me who plays a few days a month low end and as much as a few times a week high end, re-setting macro's on razor is a choir and learning auo has been slow at best because i try to immediately set up bare minimum and go out and fight and i find myself hitting simple macro's that i just don't have set up and it ending badly. Some people just don't have the patience to work it all out, especially if they believe sallos is coming back at some point. Let's get more people on in my prime time 3-6am est!

I asked the group of WKD members it happened to about it just now and they said it happened too fast to screenshot. But, I guarantee you none of them would lie about something such as that. This is the room that the swampy mares were being gated from. The player who was gating had 3 mares and 3 dragons as well. Also, you can't leave or apparently enter this room in any way and it is under buc's den. Sallos was unfortunately a client used for cheating in many ways, and I believe that is primarily the main reason as to why it was disabled.

What happened was nothing to do with Sallos and was probably a misunderstanding on WKD's part. What your saying has simply nothing to do with Sallos and is not even possible with the cheat client, not without admin powers. This is another reason why Sallos is hated, rumors and assumptions that Sallos has all these features when if you actually use both client extensively you would have a completely different opinion.

I quit, sold all my shit, not cuz sallos is gone, but cause when sallos died I felt like the server did too, and I do not plan to ever come back, regardless if sallos is re-enabled. Hell only reason I'm on the forums is cuz I wanted to see if tessa finally finished the event she started, and to no surprise she hasn't. And yw, this post should get this thread trammeled.

If you are just coming back you missed the whole ordeal... It's quite true, a lot of proof surfaced through a variety of people and screenshots. Hopefully Sallos just gets a wicked overhaul and comes back.
