the cool down timer is added to it.

it works exactly as it's suppose to on all my tests and on all Daed's test, but another tester would be nice.

The reason i havn't tested this is because iv'e never used bushido.

Evasion is still broken

It seems to be giving me 100% evasion chance whenever it is up = spell immunity

Cool down timer works fine and it does actually evade now. But, it should not be evading at 100% effectiveness...

not only am I evading 100% of the time

but any weapon hits are also parried 100% of the time

Mark had to change something on the script earlier. Not sure if it's related or not. (trying to find out)

Realistically if you`re disarmed you`d think a dexxer had SOME defensive abilities without his/her weapon even without the actual wrestling skill. Dunno if the OSI devs took that into account or not.

But hey, disarm only lasts 2-3 seconds, it`s not too bad. ;)

i thought people were suppose to miss 100% of the time for spells, it only lasts up to 8 seconds, and cools down for at least 12, where spell damage is 100%. not weapons though, could have missed that.

anyway, i told yas it needed testing :p was in big HUGE red letters.

What source indicates a 100% chance to evade spells?

the way it was written before in code, i didn't touch that part. and it shouldn't give people a 100% melee parry chance, it just raises parry chance with weapons, can anyone confirm it parrys weapons 100% it really shouldn't.

Every source says you have a chance to parry spells. It's almost the only thing they all agree on.

your % of evasion should be your parry %

so at 120bush 120parry w/ 2h wep you will parry 40%

cast evasion assuming max benefits from anat/tac/bush/parry etc

you will gain 40%+10% =50% to your parry

so 40%(1.5)= 60%

you will have a 60% chance to parry spells AND weapon attacks


the formulas need to be scaled based on whatever criteria... but that is how it should work.

can't parry be overridden by HCI? or are they seperate

parrycheck is a bool. on / off.

it returns 0.60 with evasion, and i assume it rounds up and returns true every time. possibly the problem? without evasion it's always under .50 = rounds down?

i don't know how bools are handled in terms of rounding. did parry work before?

HCI and parry are completely seperate

and parry success can still be a T or F value but it would be based on the parry % chance

so if RNG > parry % return 0 = you failed to parry

else return 1 = you parried


parry worked fine before and still works fine now when evasion is not active

once evasion is activated it goes out of whack
