This is something staff wanted to put out for awhile to make the community more informed about what we will not tolerate on the forums.

This currently is a simple guideline overall. I do not want to write a book about rules and all that, just keeping it simple.

The main reason why I am posting this is because I feel like the community should have a say in some of the rules or point out some silly things on the list or possible loop-holes.

Please be constructive about your criticism and offer some reasoning/solutions. Tell us if we should add some type of rules in or take some out.

If the thread gets out of hand, I will remove some people from the forums or close the thread.

The official forum rules should go up this weekend sometime (upon approval) and this thread will be closed. Thanks in advance for your input.

Rules:
  • Excessive vulgar language in titles
  • Continuous posts intended to hinder discussions or change the topic
  • Continuous posts made in the wrong sections
  • Continued prohibited behavior after receiving a warning or multiple warnings from moderators
  • Inappropriate links to adult content such as porn sites etc
  • Personal attacks on any staff
  • Threads of personal attacks against any members. (That doesn't really relate to PvP ability ect).
  • Impersonating another person
  • Using multiple fake accounts
  • Posting spam or links to spam sites
  • Keep PVP smack talk off announcements and on PVP forum
  • Bashing Hybrid on announcement threads
  • Posting personal information about other players. IE: photos, addresses, phone numbers etc
  • Blatantly advertising for other servers
All punishments are enforced by moderator's discretion. If you would like to appeal a suspension or ban, please contact a Hybrid Staff member.

The trade forums rules can be found below. I do not think anything needs to be changed there. If so, please state here.

And the forum of code of conduct is a good general guideline we will follow. It says everything in a much long winded way. There are some things on here that I do not agree with completely but again take a stab at it and see what you guys think.

I love the idea of inforcing rules, these forums have gone without moderation for too long. Personal attacks, trolling, attacking peoples RL which is all that happens on the pvp forums, all that good stuff. We need to get rid of the trolling and bring the community together if we want to see new players jumping on board. @Oenomaus thanks for caring and hanging in there

No PvP happening because of the trash talk, you are just "savagely" bored and have nothing better to do than instigate and troll on a game you don't even PvP on.. wonder how long it's gonna take you to quit when they really do tighten up the forums;(

You are one of the biggest offenders out there....
How many trash talking threads have you made the past few months? Ive lost count

That said, yeah youre probably right. I get banned from foruns, Ill probably lose interest and vanish soon after lol

There are other message boards on the net that I visit. Ill just hafta goif around on them instead :(

But you are my favorite Hybrid!

All about PvP, rarely am I provoked to get off topic. Do us all a favor and go to other forums;) I would love to progress as a server, I don't think you'd help..

Well, this is the question. Should I go into the PvP forums and lay down on the racist comments and just pure shit talk that has nothing to do with the game?

I have been leaving it alone for the most part unless it was just blatantly just out of control. But other members of the community would prefer that I went in there guns blazing and start shooting down people.

This is why I posted this thread, should the rules be strictly enforce there as well?

Meh. A little trolling doesn't hurt and I am not going to bury people for that. Only if people start to go overboard. There is not really a solid rule on there, but I believe I can always put it under spam.

But we do have an off-topic forum if you want to spam in there.

if the post are specifically directed towards someone irl life I don't think it should rlly matter where its said.

If you are asking me, then thats a mistake lol....
Do what you feel is best for Hybrid. Ryan put you in charge.
Whatever you decide to do, I will abide by the rules.

Hence the fact I havrnt made any new polls since last time

Taking the wind outta my sails dude XD
