A: Its automatically made. Just enter your desired name and password and it will be created. However, its recommended not to use the same passwords as you have previously
Q: When I log on it says I already have 5 characters.
A: This is one of the most common login problems associated especially with Gateway. To fix this problem you need to create a new cache by deleting you old one and re-logging in. To do this go into your UO folder and go in the sub-folder called "Desktop". Delete the items in there and re-log into UOgamers. That will reset you and you're all set!

Q: How many accounts can I have per IP?
A You can have 4 accounts per IP

A: You can own 1 house per account.

A: When you log on you will be asked to give an email address to link your account to. This will be where you can modify Account settings like your password. After you verify your email address you type “[account” to access the menu.

Q: How do I post pictures?
A: You can use Razor to take a screen shot or use the print screen button located by F12 and pasting it into paint. Then you must upload the picture to a pic hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack. Then once its uploaded get the url and put it in between tags

Q: How Can I Raise My Stats?
A: Your Stats can best be raised by using skills at a low level. Many people suggest using Camping for all stats, but you can use snooping for Dex, evaluating intelligence for Int, or arms lore for Str.
Q: What does Dex Do?
A: Dexterity speeds up many of the processes in UO. For example with about 25 dex you will apply Band-Aids in 15 seconds.. with like 100 dex, its around 9.5. Dexterity also speeds up your attacks and gives you more stamina.

Q: Where do I find the Thief guild mistress?
A: There is a mistress in every town but it may take some looking. In Britain you can find Vandoren near the West Brit Bank
Q: How do I join the Thieves Guild / It says I'm too young?
A: You must have 60 stealing, 48 hours of logged in game-time and your character must be at least 7 days old. You also cannot have any murder counts, neither short or long.
Q: How long am I suspended from the thieves guild?
A: You were suspended because you got a murder count. To get back into the action you must lose that count
Q: Do Inscription help magic reflect?
A: Yes if you have GM Magery you can have 8 circles of reflection, with GM Inscription you can have 7 circles of reflection. Both of them put together means you can hold off 15 circles of spells.
Q: Does Inscription give a damage bonus here?
A: No, only bonuses to magic reflect, reactive armor, arch protection and protection.
Q: How do I deadly poison someone?
A: You can do it three ways: One by having GM poisoning and magery and casting poison on a target within two tiles from you. More then two will result in just greater poison. You can feed someone deadly poisoned food. Also, you can put deadly poison on a weapon (such as a katana) and hit them.
Q: What is Pet Bonding?
A: A bonded pet is one that when it dies, instead of just being a corpse it turns into a ghost which you can revive. So in short you don't lose your pets Bonded Pets can also be recalled with you.
Q: How do I bond a pet?
A: Successfully tame a creature or have one transferred to you. Make sure you have enough taming to tame it on your own before proceeding. Make sure your pet is "Wonderfully Happy." Feed your pet once. Stable your pet for 7 full real-life days. Remove your pet from the stables and feed, and it’ll bond.

Q: My house cant fit here.
A: Houses have very strict perimeters they have to follow to be places. For example they can not be placed over items you cannot walk through. They also must have at least 2 tiles on each side un obstructed. They also must be 8 tiles away from another house in front or back.
Q: Are there places left?
A: Yes! Check the forests because the usually the most overlooked places.
Q: I cannot commit my house because it says there’s something illegal?
A: This message will arise when you try and commit a design, but there is some flaw in your design. Illegal objects will look orange when in customize mode. These tiles represent invalid placement and will block the commit process until corrected. If you correct the tile the orange hue goes away.
Q: If I demolish my house will I get gold back?
A: If you demolish a customizable house the worth of your house will be deposited into your bank account. If you demolish a classic house you will be refunded with the deed into your bank account. You must turn these into a real estate agent to get the money back.
Q: How Long does it take a house to fall?

Q: What is Server Wars?
A: It is the time period at 3 EST or 12 Pac time that the server stops saving for 15 minutes. Here you can do whatever you want without repercussion, because its not going to save! This is called server wars because a lot of the time all out war breaks loose at places such as Brit graveyard.
Q: I logged on and my account has been deleted?!
A: After being idle for 90 days the Account Deletion Timer sets in. Your account will be deleted.
Q: What are the rules in Guard Zone?
A: In Guard Zone reds can roam freely. This doesn't’t mean your vulnerable because if they attack you can still cal guards. However, if you attack them and “flag” aggressor to them, they can attack you without guards intervention... In guard zone if you steal from another player you have the chance of being sighted and guard whacked.
Q: What makes you a murderer / What is a PK?
A: A PK is a player killer, or murderer. If you kill someone they have the chance of reporting you as a murderer. After 5 of these counts you will go red and become a PK. You must then wait to have those counts decay.
Q: How long do murder counts last?
A: 8 hours for short term 40 hours each long term of in game playing time.
Q: What is Perma-grey?
A: Perma Grey means you are a criminal but others can see you as a blue player. Thieves guild members are perma grey. Therefore, they can be attacked freely. Players with forensic evaluation can detect this condition
Q: What is AR?
A: AR is your Armor rating. It is effected by what armor you are wearing as well as what shield you are carrying and your Parrying. A full suit of plate armor, minus the helmet, of iron ingots gave 38 armor. The full valorite suit, again minus the helmet, gave 52 armor
Q: Do weapons have special effects?
A: Spears cause paralyzing blows. You can also poison some such as the katana. And they are know for being fast. Maces are used to break armor and do double damage hits by causing crushing blows. Axes and swords deal concussions that sap the mana from the opponent. Also some can be poisoned and they are fast.
Q: What are runic weapons?
A: Runic weapons are made with a Runic Hammer and are dealt magical attributes according to the power of the hammer.
Q: My Pet is lost what do I do?
A: If your pet is bonded you must wait until it goes wild again. If its unbounded perhaps it will be killed.
Q: I have a follower walking around somewhere what do I do?
A: The only thing you can do is to page the staff and ask for them to release it. Most likely its either a horse you fell off of when you died or a escort
Q: How do you grow Plants?
A: Plants can be grown by obtaining a bowl, a seed, and dirt. The most up to date guide can be found here: http://celticmoon.com/plants/index.html
Q: Do plants grown in fertile dirt grow faster?
A: Fertile dirt does make the plants grow twice as fast as well as limiting the number of diseases and problems your plant may have.
Q: How do I use a Taxidermy kit?
A: All you need is carpentry skill, the kit, and the corpse of the creature you want to mount. Double click the kit then click the corpse. You will make a deed for the trophy.
The kits aren't blessed and can only be used once
Q: What is the Virtue System?
A: The virtue system isn't activated on here. There is a system based on the virtues where you accrue points based on certain actions you perform. The higher you get in a virtue the more benefits you receive from that virtue. It's not active on UOG: Hybrid, though
