Is there a way to resign from a faction?

Go to the faction stone you used to join to resign. It takes seven days from joining to have the ability to resign. You can check your term status by saying:

"What is my faction term status"

How long does it usually take for an unwanted skill to go down once you click the arrow?

It goes down when you reach your 700 cap and start gaining in a skill with the arrow set to "Up"
