I would assume mainly to test it and see how people like it. I think it's INSANELY fun in the pits just because now it opens up much more room for different templates besides alchy.

It's instant swing, what that does is when you equip a weapon, it checks to see if you've not swung with anything and if you haven't you swing immediately.
Example: explosion, ebolt,(no wait) hally swing
What it's like without instant swing is: explosion, ebolt, (4.5 seconds) hally swing
U mean like tank mages? So I could swing and go heals and by the time I heal a few i could arm wep and insta hit?

If special hits are still enabled. Fencer mage would be a generic alchy.
Hits are not guaranteed, and stuns are not on toggle. And it's melee range only.
