• A raid leader assigns a main tank, a healer, and organizes the party. Almost 0 field awareness is needed.
• A main tank which is many times not the raid leader, sets a few raid icons on some monsters and they procede to bash them like zombies.
• Raid party runs around using a rotation of skills with 0 field awareness needed

• A UO Party leader calls a sync and pays attention to what is going on, nothing is similar to a raid leader. Fighting players and bashing monsters have nothing in common.
• A Party leader is constantly aware and changing what to do given the circumstances. A raid leader says when to taunt and change tanks. That's pretty similar right?
• A party of UO pvpers dump according to the caller, and heal depending on the situation. Nothing like a raid party.

All in all like I said, you're foolish. You're obviously not a group pvper and more than likely a pvper at all. You probably bash gazers all day. Case rested.

It doesn't take any skill to read a guide on how to down a certain boss. I don't think I have ever been in a single group pvp encounter in UO that was identical to the last.

You really know what to expect when fighting a boss in WoW, even if its your first encounter with him. Its been a while since I have played WoW. Although, the main instances were BWL, Naxx, MC (before BC). I can't remember a time in that game where the raid leader said, "I don't know what to do here". Although, I can remember several encounters in UO where we have lost fights because of a weaker caller. Not to mention, your fighting against other players in UO.

Now, I have heard that in the MLG tournies they sync spike damage on targets. Even so, its not like a sync on UO.

WoW is garbage. Its like that slutty girl in school that everyone has banged and is embarassed to admit. Although, WoWs die hard players put any games to shame. The dudes actually engulf their life in the shit- pretty sad.

they must have really changed raids after i left. that's not how i remember it at all. i seem to remember having to use "field awareness" to avoid adds. apparently everyone who reads a guide is instantly totally proficient in it, and none of the 20-40 folks involved make any mistakes. because when someone does make a mistake, the situation changes rapidly, and if the leader (the only one really playing) cannot cope, the raid wipes. so you dump according to the caller and heal according to the situation? isnt that like a raid leader calling for DPS while the healers heal according to the situation? nah, couldent be.

i do go out of my way to pvp. i run with a group of 2-4 others. unless i have a dire need for gold, i could give a shit less about mobs, much less worthless ones like gazers. i'd rather kill the PVE'ers who've been farming all that gold.
