Maybe you bid here, then go somewhere in game to claim your bid and collect the prize. Id like to know how tessas going to go about it too

He has a valid point. I have 4 chars with points ranging from 200-274? can I bid four times? Also when will the vendor be available tessa? I can't win any auctions... :)

Hey Tessa, just as an idea you could send each account a unique ID in game somehow and have them use that to link it, it may create other issues but will negate the most obvious problems. You may already have a more secure process in place, I don't know.

Any idea on when the bidding will begin? and when all the information for the auction will be put on the forums tessa? im really curious i have a good chunk of points and im looking foreward to spending em ;)

The auction will be here on the forums. It will not be in trade so even those banned from trade can participate.

Items will be listed and you will have time to bid on them.

There will be a post at the top of the auction section that explains it all in detail.

The vendor will be out about the time the auction posts are up.
You can check out the vendor and the items/prices on the vendor before you begin bidding on auction items.

Both the auction posts and the vendor will be announced as active by the towncriers in-game, when it happens.

It will be sometime towards mid-week. I won't be ready for it all before then.

The addition of new codes ends today. That is, this is the last day for daily codes or new special codes.

Codekeepers will be removed through the week beginning after server wars, but their codes are active until they are removed (there's almost 100 in total between land and naval so it will take me a bit to get rid of them all).

Yea Code Blue, i hear where your coming from. i think its a bummer that the low lvl points are seriously going to regs and arcane gems and wands? i mean that is the stuff we farm for every day. i feel any prize should be unique. specially after collecting points for a month

I am sure you wont need many points to redeem the resources. I am going to get all the 100 charge (set) lightning wands and sell those. Easy 100k per set :)

Okay before everyone starts jumping up and down...


This event was to get people out in the world. That is the real reward of the event.
For the main part, I think it went okay. There were a few things I would/will change/not do/do differently but all in all, I think it was pretty good.
If you were one of the people who were not out there participating, you missed out on the main fun and the whole point.

The rewards are just something to cash the points in on because running around to collect points for no reason would be silly.
The rewards could have easily been stacks of carrots instead, but rarities are used because they are valued most and will get more people out.
They were the best carrots. :p

I realize some people are not interested in rares so supplies were added. They are not meant to make anyone rich or to flood the shard with resources.
They are a thank you for participating and a little something to cash your points in on.

Finally, for those that really didn't gather many points, you will most likely still be able to get a souvenir Hybrid Hunt 2012 item worth 50 points.

For those that enjoyed the event and look forward to the auction, I'm happy you had fun.
For those that did not enjoy the event or are disappointed for any number of reasons, I'm sorry it didn't meet expectations.
