Re: So who's all old LS players

Are any IB playing on here?

Scanning the Lounge board for the first time in years, lot of regulars missing. Xavori probably isn't here, but the chance to Carebear death-hug Bubba and the boys again would be priceless.

Need to visit the Lounge board more often and see what's up.

Re: So who's all old LS players

I remember a lot of you from the guilds I was a member/enemy of. It's cool to see that a lot of people are still around.

Guilds: KoA (Knights of the Alliance), Destiny & BCB (Blue Clan Brotherhood)
Characters: Dean, DeanTheSmith, Blood-Red

Guilds: YDA & UOF
Characters: Juran Black, Oscar the Grouch, Whiskey Man, Grendel

Re: So who's all old LS players

I played LS back in the day
I played as shadow hunter , GWENDOLYN , Darksky
Im sure some others, I recognize alot of the old players.
I was the GM of Lynch Mob ( LM ) we were the largest warring guild on the server for a long time. Had lots of wars and lots of members, my and my brother codyness owned a cabin by the yew gate.
Nice to see alot of the oldschool players on here.
I also played Lake Austin LA for quite awhile as Dark Virtues

Re: So who's all old LS players

I played LS as Joe-c, DDOGG (my tamer), fich dek my mule turned pk, cptn crunch (got confused for cptn caveman a lot and relentlessly asked to be friended to his yew cabin house) I played mostly up north of minoc with the likes of raen darkfire and big bird and all those clowns. Not with them so much as against them but you get the point.

I remember almost all of the names said in this forum in one scope or another, i played on dial up so i was always horrible when to big of a crowd rose up. Incidently i do remember Fdisk and yes he did have purple long hair, i only remember really seeing you in factions so pre-factions i didnt see ya.

Does anyone remember the worst player to claim being good? (RUSS maybe 1 s?) he and some one else fought loki and bat in the chap tourny thing they had but never finished. Incidently he was one of the first people with 120 scrolls that i found and never seen him pre power scroll era pvp'n.

Some pretty chill people i remember from LS: Woodchopper, Tarl the Avenger (who's name i stole on this server), Wilson, Electra, Shadow Hunter, EM, Teela, Xero, God Knows, Blaine the Gypsi, Artful dodger, Vimes, judo Sammy chung / China Funk .Prob about another 50 or so people that were all pretty cool people, i did not get a long with all of them but there was a sort of decency in pvp then that doesnt exist much now.

Wish i had my old computer with all the screen shots from back then.

I was only in 2 guilds back then LM and KoA (Knights of the alliance)

Which guild was it who had random initials but was dirty brown toilet logs, that guild name always made me laugh and to this day still does.

i had a house up north Minoc way, i remember all those peeps. I had a few chars that I played, most notable was my disarm thief Loki. I ran with Dam Inc sometimes, mostly ran with Anti-Ranger. pfft

Re: So who's all old LS players

I couldnt think of it off the top of my head but a spent a lot of time hanging out up north minoc ways with Urza she was a smith who RP'd as a chick lol complete with fake pictures and all that shit even had his wife talk in vent for him was pretty sick imo. Took me knowing him for 10 years to finally tell me the truth. Another prominent smith in that area was donitello he i think had a smithy style house that fell eventually where i placed my log cabin. Like 4 screens down from the KdoLs house

Re: So who's all old LS players

I remember you Biggunz. Can't recall where from since it was a LONGGG time ago. I would have known you on my Dean account back then. Didn't we start up a guild one time? I have such a crappy memory....

what ever happened to rivendale the pk town/stable
I don't remember it being a pk town. Think it was a blue guild player town. In any event, the name has changed to Rivendell and it's still there.

Re: So who's all old LS players

For those of you that remember Red Dragon guild and city, here's a pic of what it looks like today. There's mostly 18x18s, keeps, castles, and towers left in Felucca, although there's still a few small classics here and there.

Also this is the Mage Tower today. It was placed there legally before there were any rules against placing on top of water (a very very long time ago). This is on Moonglow the Northeastern most point, north of the Mage shop.

Re: So who's all old LS players

Let me start by saying this was amazing to see that even after all these years, you all still play and reconnected.
I had a few accounts, got banned a few times. I wasn't the greatest pvper but pretty damn good. Started in 97 and my main was Nihilistc. After getting banned I think my mains were The Rock, and Vegita all tank mages and Shadow Knight was my noob macer when that crushing blow shit came out since that publish ruined pvp and tank mages. I had tons of other chars but I cant remember. Hung out in minoc and vesper mainly. Started out as a PVE/PVM’er in my first month. Got pk’ed at the zoo one day training archery, and after that day, I’ve been a life long pvp’er in every online game I’ve ever played. I Remember noob guilds like DX in minoc mines and killing people like that in my first year. After thinking that was pvp I stopped sucking so much and moved onto to being a red pk and actually dueling legit pvper's and got a lil better.

Reefer, if you’re reading this hit me up dude. Haha and yes I remember that fool paul atreides. Haha holy shit yoshi, and ice trey, the two brothers I remember them too. Dean I remember you as well. We rolled with me when hanzou still played. On the good ol ICQ days. And Biggunz I remember knowing you.

I remember brad pitt, and lot of the other names I saw, sorry just went through the ENTIRE thread post for post and cant remember all names. Definetly remember Diamond Dog and his crew and also Redrum and that amazing perma red crew that every perma pk guild tried to imitate.

I started pre T2A. My rl friend was Hanzou, we owned a house on vesper road and did a shit ton of pvp there… to the point usually where it ended in people gating in their entire guilds.

I remember rolling with a good pvp guild when my main was Vegita, but cant remember the name of it; I think it was DNV, dirt nappers of vesper. It was Rude Dog’s/Bendover’s guild. Plaps and joyce were in it. Im sure im forgetting tons of other great people I knew but im 26 and this was like from age 13-16.

So theres an LS pvp hall of fame? And that sorry ass fool pikachu is on there? GTFO lol I remember I dueled him three times in front of EE and beat him 2/3 with a 5x hally mage with like 93 magery and 65 resist on dial up. That hall of fame is sorely mistaken because I can name atleast 5 people who were better than me.

After the rude dog days I joined OnC the ignoble order. Ashenshugar was the leader and I love him like a brother but he sucked and if he’s reading this now, I still stand by it lol. We only had like 12 total members, Merlin joined us, the real merlin, the one who is actually good and is on my AIM list that I haven’t logged on in years. but we were 3rd on the war list behind EE and someone else. We were red pks/chaos/order all that shit. Basically couldn’t go anywhere without a fight and that’s how I loved it.
EE was just a bunch of noobs imo and just had overwhelming numbers in most fights; however, there were a few good duelers though I do remember so if you flame me for that statement, then so be it but that was the truth.

God this was an amazing trip down memory lane… I have been craving UO pvp the last few months and its been a few years since I played on Defiance. To see all this justifies my belief that UO was clearly the greatest online game for pvp ever. Granted its not a fancy 3-d game, but it is one of the original mmo's. The best damn part was this: When you died, you lost your shit. When you killed someone, you took their shit. No better way to grief someone than to take all of their possessions. You could recall in a dungeon and catch someone half life after two hours of lich farming and instantly take away all their hard work. It put so much more value into the game because dieing in these modern day mmo's doesnt mean much.I like when joyce said he never worked an honest day in his UO career and got everything he wanted; that sums it up right there. These mmo’s these days are pansy compared to UO. And just the fact that you could fight anytime, anywhere was just great. It was like the old west, you just ran with your crew and killed other people who were also looking for trouble.

Tried to get UO to work on Vista a few years ago but it kept crashing... tempted to install an old hardrive with XP on it and hop on. Great memories... thank you all.
