i kinda gave up on halloween town hunting, only thing that seemed to give me anything was the lich lords in the dungeon, but they only gave pumpkins 
but i finally got a venus fly trap from jack'o'lantern hunting: 77 carved pumpkins, 60 wrapped candies, 1 orange twilight lantern, 1 red venus fly trap
i hope they give the jack'o'lanterns some value on the next CuB event or something.. still, with the ones from last year, i should be able to make every staff member happy and angry set, and flashing too

Pumpkins, candy, obsidian, Items are like this default, common, rare, very rare. I got this stuff all over Halloweentown. You can't just run through a dungeon a few times and get a drop. Well you can but, unlikely. You have to kill, kill, kill AKA the grind. I grind every free moment of every day till HTown closes. And the bosses of course. Sometimes you get a dud and nobody gets a drop, sometimes people get marties. Then sometimes you get something really nice. KILL KILL KILL
