i have found a way to lose 1/3 of all skilles fore 20 min. your skill is redused to 63 dean you use a normal box all the gain you get in the 20 min will be addet to your skill after the 20 min.just remember it cant get over the cap 700 so you will need a skill deat will go down permenantly.

I'm stuked in 97.2 after opening lots and lots of dungeons chests.
At least i'm increasing my bank acount.

Join a faction and then get killed by a rival faction. you will have the afore mentioned skill loss for 20 minutes. if you havent GM'd by the time the skilll loss wheres off, go get killed again.

Follow pimpineasy's guide and works great. After 95 lockpicking, just did the Faction thing he described, and regaind off my lower level lockboxes, I made on a Tinker, that I worked with my lockpicker.

at UOGADDICT.com you can actually download the macro for the boxes, just drag it into your Razor folder into the macro folder, do retarget on the keys, boxes an lockpicks.... only rub is that you cant be near boxes of the same type. woRks great.

Just go to Shipwreck Casino and buy the set he has there. For your 10k you get all the boxes you need to go from 0-100, keys, picks, instructions,a macro, and poison.
Easy as falling off a log. Very well put together.

yes combined with the boxes from shipwreck you will be at 95 in nO time, though i R stuck at 95.1 now an it seems only dungeon pickin is gonna work =/

Did you read the book that came with the kit? You have to faction trick it up to get GM lockpicking. The only alternative is a ridiculous amount of dungeon chest picking.

Faction trick works wonders getting you to GM without dungeon picking. The books that come with the lockpick packs from the Shipwreck Casino tell you exactly what you need to do.

ouch. i made a tinker for lockpicking purposes, and his boxes got me to 75. then i realized his tinkering should be a bit higher to keep the raises coming. so i tinkered like crazy, and in my excitement took his arse all the way to 100. now i "can't see how that lock can be manipulated". grr! the faction trick seems the easiest, i'm just a bit terrified of factions after my brief faction run on hybrid, which consisted of me dying a good twenty times in half an hour. but with the inclusion of trammel, and less people playing, maybe it won't be so bloody.

at 95 you can still gain from gm tink locks, like they said use the faction trick, if you dont know what that is here it is:

1. go to fel and join a faction.
2. return to tram and get you locked box and picks
3. go get you some normal poison potions
4. head to a healers shop
5. kill yourself
6. rez at the healers
7. and work your skill like normal (only your skill lvl will have droped when you died) no worries it will return shortly
8. then you just have to repeat the process till your skill returns and its gm

You can go to Twisted Weald and bring a Satyr over near the entrance/exit teleporter. Attack the Satyr and wait until you under the effect of its Discordance. When your skills drop jump into the sparkle teleporter and start picking boxes. When your skills return to normal repeat the process. You should reach Grandmaster in a couple hours.
