I liked WoW but just being your average highschool kid the 10$ a month kinda turned me off. WoW is a rather fun game as long as you know people or have a good guild. But alas, it still can be your average stand and slash mmorpg.

Best mass PvP I've had on anygame is Warhammer online.
Got a shit pc?
Got 2 gig of Ram?
Don't play it!
Wanna poon ppl on your own?
Don't play it!
If you want 100v100 mass battles play it!
Then again, when one side is loosing they all go PvE.
Crafting sucks.
WoW type grind for Renown Rank, leveling is easy, just kill.

Unlimited trial length of gameplay upto level 10.

Wowtrance. Molten-wow used to have scripts working just as good, but they removed them for stability.

So, Wowtrance = I play for pvp.
Molten-wow = general wow playing as instances there and stuff work just fine.

If you do play on molten-wow, my nick is Zalamael on Sargeras. :>

Well, if you ever consider retail WoW, get into Ner'zhul and PM me, i'll send you some funky riches so you can just level up without caring about gear or stuff like that untill you're 80.

Best of all, you can PvP your way up to 80. It's slow, but once you hit 80, you're playing so well that battlegrounds will feel like crap under your shoe.

Oh, *I* would *NEVER* run a server with the intention of being "exactly like the real thing... but better", now would I?

If you like the Medieval D&D style, try Dark Ages of Camelot.
Imo it fills all the requisites you asked for and there are free servers now too.
