SVN 333 Update (June 28th, 2009)

Contents of bod books now be viewed during secure trades.
Holiday Trees turn to deeds when a house is removed
Prospector Tools work again after resource bank respawns
Prevent carving corpses Trammel-ruleset facets unless you have looting rights
Various tweaks to balance PvP according to Publish 46
* Weapon Special Moves now require Weapon Skill and Tactics of appropriate skill levels. Exceptions: Wrestling special moves, Shadowstrike, Infectious Strike
* Can no longer stack using a weapon special move and casting a spell or activating a skill ability.
* Hit Point Increase from items is now capped at 25.
* Enhance Potion from items is now capped at 50.
* Death Strike will now cause 50% less damage when using a ranged weapon.
* Fractional values of meditation will now count towards mana regen
* Cancel targeting cursor when using the Hiding skill.
Swampdragon barding now absorbs monster damage
Corrections so HCI and DCI properly modify hit chance
Spellweaving now checks Target Resist against Caster Spellweaving skill
SW scrolls now look like OSI SW scrolls
Increased Gem Mining chance to .6%
Fixed Container Capacity Issues
* Horde Minions now carry 400 stone.
* Containers now retain their weight limit unless in a bank or secure container
Taming/NPC Changes
* Except in the case of paralyzation, if an animal cannot pathfind to the person trying to tame it, the taming attempt will fail. This limitation includes situations where placed objects, walls, energy fields, and any other such object block the creature.
* Control chance with Bushido updated to match OSI
* When a player logs out, bonded pets and summons with an empty pack will be auto-stabled, returning to the player upon login
* The formula for controlling a tamed pet has changed - see here
* Rune Beetle Corruption pet ability will now reduce each resist by one half of its value for the duration of the corruption.
* Pet ghosts no longer stay around for days. Pet ghosts will now only exist between 2-4 hours, after which they will vanish, even if their owner is online
* Lesser Hiryu Dismount will now have a 20% chance to succeed.
* A pet that performs a Dismount special maneuver will now add a remount delay for its owner.
* Pets will possess the same notoriety as their masters.
* Pet summoning balls unhide the summoner when attempting to summon their pet.
* Pet summoning balls have a disruptable casting animation like other spells.
* Pet summoning balls have a reuse delay of 15 seconds.
* Cmd Follow changed - The pet should follow. It will not attack anything, even if it is attacked. (unless it is guarding)
* Cmd Stop changed - The pet will stop attacking. It will not attack anything, even if it is attacked, and may wander.
* After command Kill is complete pets will now move on to attack other mobiles that are currently aggressive toward them.
* Cmd Stay changed - The pet will stay where it is currently, and will not attack anything but will fight back in place.
* Cmd Drop will now only work on bonded pets.
* Attacking your own pets is not a criminal action.
* NPC pathfinding fixed
Gauntlet monsters are no longer immune to targeted peace.
Remove Curse now removes Blood Oath effect, Mind Rot, and Curse
Rune Beetles movement speed increased.
Poison Strike is now affected by SDI.
Staff members are now able to demolish staff owned houses
Fix Barrel hoops name
Remove TMaps generated in Old Haven Location.
Infos about fisherman and weight is now displayed on the fish trophy
Prisoners now give 2x Compassion points
Golems no longer eat food or bond
Shields will no longer be craftable with HCI
Shields are now craftable with RPD
Spellbooks are now disarmable
Big fish now spawn in 2 colors, green and blue
Fixed displayed mana requirements for some spells
Wands can now be used as mace weapons
New Stackables - Granite, sand, dough, sweet dough, sushi platters, savage kin paint, pan of cookies, baked quiche, smoke bombs, egg bombs, and arcane gems
White Pearls now spawn while fishing
Nature's Fury can't be casted directly on mobiles.
Thunderstorm damage works as OSI and it's affected by SDI.
fixed buff localization for Pain Spike
Added buffs for: Divine Fury, Enemy of One, Reactive Armor, Protection, Bless, Curse, Blood Oath (caster and target).

looks like only the megadiff I posted (with some corrections more) got implemented. It's always a great thing: the bugfix thread can breath now :)

Are greater dragons corrected now?

Correct a couple issues in your patch didn't get fixed in your copy though.

is it 0.6% chance for humans and elfs? because i thought elfs have better chance to get them?

I just remembered something I have been meaning to ask for ages:

When you craft a Verite Shield for example, it has 28 resist points. But if you use a runic it will only have 19. Is this actually correct? (and what is the rationale behind it if it is?)

So now you have to wait to collect the gp in a pet until it bonds unless you kill it?

Thank you very much for all your effort on this.
Just a note, I've some Savage Kin Paints and I can not stack them...
Can someone check if this is OK?

Should work on new ones spawned, not old ones......I think.

Yeah you are correct. Just read LC post in some other thread... Well, better than nothing... :p

So now those very convenient locations in the Hiyru spawning zone, such as the ruined house on the east side, where you used to be able to tame RUs from the other side of the wall, That no longer will work, correct?
