The quest gives you colored Peculiar Seeds. I know of three colors white ,gray/black and yellow.
There should be another entrance to this event quest.

Notes from the meeting, held on Friday night:

As most of you may know the town was devastated recently.
There are still no leads as to whom may have let the creature from its cage.
We all need to stay alert when traveling the lands at this time.

Yes as Captain Lucian has said the cavern does indeed appear to be a solen nest.
Our team of naturalist across these lands have gathered much knowledge about the red and black solen.
With the help of our fine citizens of course.
Now what we do know about solen is they do not pose much of a threat to us unless we enter their territory.
And as you are all aware us scholars do not good adventurers make.
I am very excited by this discovery but will need your help to discover more.
You have told us about the "strange eggs" that have been seen in the cavern.
Also we know "1 ant lion" has been spotted down there.
Recently I have learnt that there is indeed a new race of solen.
They have been observed to be "an odd splotchy brown color".
Ah what fascinating news. An entirely new race, hmm
A mutation? A cross-breeding? Are they related to either other solen race? There is so much yet to discover.
If anyone would like to adventure into the caves please come and find me.
I will most likely be upstairs in the castle library.

Man it would be sweet if we had a member who not only played lake superior around 2003ish, took part in the solen event, and has a photographic memory to recall all of the ant holes!

Givin that the colonies are seperated by facet (red/brown)

Red/tramm =tram, malas, t2a ect..

Illsner (how ever its spelled) is kind of a mixed facet in that reds can roam freely.

Could it be there?

Idea #2, high seas boats are in testing, could this be tied to that update? Hell i dont even know if the uo map is remotely similar when high seas was released compared to demise, but is there a location where that kicked off

from the quest is there only the 3 different colors of seeds? and since they are not stacking i would think that the plants are different also
